I was always skeptical about the “law of attractions”, until recently, when I tuned into myself a bit more, and small positive things started happening, making me realise I am on the right path.

You can realise the “law of attraction” is on your side from the smallest things like wanting a cup of coffee, and your colleague surprising you with one a few minutes later. To bigger things, like deals just falling on your lap, where some people would call it “luck”.

Not to say that there aren’t any brokers who got lucky in their first year on the job, I am sure there are a few stories, but for the majority of us success came with a lot of hard work and perseverance.

When I first started my real estate journey, I was overwhelmed with the tasks and responsibilities the job required. It was not easy to adapt, as being a realtor is more of a lifestyle than a job.

Passion, persistence, tenacity, a one-track mindset and thick skin are only some of the traits that kept me going. At times the hardest thing was to keep pushing and not quit! Quitters never win, and in business winning doesn’t always mean you have to finish first, it means you are doing better than you ever did before!

So if things are not going your way and you are not achieving what you desire, keep going, keep self improving and stick to it!

Wow! What a month for Dubai real estate. Saying the market is ??????? is an understatement.
⠀
The funny thing is, back in May when prices dropped to the lowest over the last few years, people were hesitant to buy, saying that in 6 months they will drop even further as there will be more layoffs. People were commenting on my social media saying that Dubai properties will be worth nothing.
⠀
How wrong were they as now we are seeing record high volume of transactions and prices going up daily, with multiple offers of properties, where the highest bidder ends up buying.
⠀
This just comes to show that even the best market experts do not have a crystal ball, and it is very difficult to predict where the market will go - we can only guess and presume.
⠀
And most importantly, buying a property is a long term game, and there is no need to worry about the short term market fluctuations. In the long term, you will always win.
⠀

Yay! Today is my last day of quarantine, and as per Dubai Health Authority guidelines, I can go back to life after completing the 10 days of isolation, provided I do not have any symptoms.
⠀
What have I learnt?
⠀
?Human interactions are so important, and it was a real struggle being alone all this time. Even Zoom chats were a highlight of my day.
⠀
?I am much more productive in the office and bounce off other people’s energies. Can’t wait to go back to work!
⠀
?The virus is real, it is not “just a flu”
⠀
?Catching the virus is pretty disruptive to your life. Not only do you need to isolate, but everyone who was in your close contact must be tested, your kids need to stay off school, etc. And should you develop nasty symptoms, the struggle is real!
⠀
?I am super super grateful I only had it mild. I know many people who are really suffering and trying hard to fight it
⠀
?Smell is so important! As a foodie, I am really missing all the flavours of food
⠀
?I now know the true meaning of being tired! During the first week, the days were flying by, everything was a complete blur and I was so exhausted
⠀
?Exercise even for 10 min - getting your body moving will make you feel better
⠀
?So grateful to all the people in my life who helped me out during this tough times, from advice, to bringing me food, to taking care of my son while he was out of school, etc. You are all amazing ❤️
⠀
?Stay healthy and take care of yourself and your body prior to getting sick, then your chances of fighting the sickness are that much higher. Health is wealth ??

Thank you God for guiding me through this journey, and for having me come out of it stronger. Please help all the people who are sick now to fight this illness and to recover. Amen ??

Me working from home and kicking Covid’s a** like ????

As most of you know, I have tested positive a few days ago, and it came as a total surprise, as I was not showing any symptoms. (There was a positive case at work, hence why everyone else went and got tested)
⠀
I am extremely lucky and grateful that so far my main symptoms are extreme fatigue and headache, and nothing else, but unfortunately I know some people who are really struggling with this.
⠀
I wanted to write this post to make people realise that it is hitting much closer to home, and many many people I know around me are testing positive now. Just please take extra precautions like we used to during April/May when all this was so new to us. Back then we had 100 cases a day and now we are having almost 3,500 daily, and we have become too relaxed.
⠀
Also here is a list of vitamins that we should be taking daily to ensure a healthy immune system as a preventative measure (feel free to comment with any addition suggestions as well!):

?Vitamin D (1000-4000 IU daily)
?Vitamin C
?Zinc (30-50 mg daily)
?B Complex Vitamins
?Magnesium at night
?Melatonin at night
⠀
Currently I am taking all of the above, plus I am doing the following:
⠀
?Breathing in steam with Vicks 2-3 times a day
?Doing breathing exercises for increased lung capacity
?Eating lots of healthy foods and drinking a lot of fresh juices and ginger/lemon tea
?Eating more garlic and onion
?Staying positive ??
