Balance? What’s that? Being a new mom and navigating being back to work is hard. No way to sugar coat it. Trying to spend my mornings focused on Nolan while also ensuring I’m setting myself up for the work day is a challenge. Sleep seems like a long gone luxury. But yet in those early morning moments, even when the coffee hasn’t reached my blood stream, I get a big smile from Nolan and its all worth it. It’s worth it because being his mom is so special and being a journalist is a passion that makes me excited to go to work. ❤️ So here’s to seeking balance but accepting that it’s all a work in progress!
