I was working the other day, had some lunch, and then all of a sudden I didn't feel good. Not just physically, but mentally. Like a wave of general yuck just hit me. ⁠
⁠
So I listened to my body, cancelled my meetings (I HATE doing that, but I can't give my best if I'm not feeling my best), and took the rest of the day off to relax.⁠

I took it easy the next day, went to bed early, and here we are now. I feel so much better. The human body is weird. Emotions are weird. But listen to them. If I would've forced myself to do everything that was on my list, I know I would still feel like complete garbage (because I've done that before).⁠

Just a lil' reminder to put your physical and mental health first. Taking a break can feel unproductive, but it's the only way to get back to 100% (and you WILL get there, no matter how impossible it feels rn) ❤️❤️❤️
