Standout projects making waves around the web

Gotta tell you something. Come close. Closer. Closer. Almost there... Kenya kab chalen? ???????? Did you know Kenya sits right on the equator, yet the air in Maasai Mara feels impossibly crisp? That the Great Migration sees over 1.5 million wildebeest cross the Mara River in what is arguably the greatest wildlife spectacle on Earth? That a lion’s roar can carry up to 8 km — and when you hear it at 5am on safari, something primal wakes up inside you? All of this, and more, is waiting for you. Every single frame in this carousel is from my trips to Kenya — no filters needed when the real thing looks like this. Some places don’t just take your breath away. They give you a new one. ???? ???? “One day” turned into the best days of my life. ????✨ I’ve been to Maasai Mara, Kenya twice in 2025 — January and September. And here’s what nobody tells you about an African safari — every game drive tells a completely different story. January gave me all Big5 including leopards and cheetahs. September? Despite patiently waiting for a sleeping Leopard (on a tree) for 5 hours, didn’t get his darshan. That’s wildlife. Unpredictable, humbling and beautiful. ???? But September gave me something else entirely.# Two lionesses so close to my safari vehicle, I could hear them breathing. Not roaring. Breathing. ???? Over 30 lion sightings — cubs, male lions, a pride hunting, lionesses scolding their little ones. An elephant charging at a lion. Hyenas hunting in a pack. Hippos unbothered by the world. Hundreds of elephants just living their best lives. And the birds? Don’t even get me started. ???????? This is not Nat Geo. No narrator. No script. Just raw, wild life happening right in front of your eyes. Maasai Mara will shatter every expectation — and replace it with something better. There is nowhere else like this on Earth. ???????? ???? Have questions about an Africa safari or want to book your Kenya adventure? DM TSW — your “one day” starts today. ???? #MaasaiMara #KenyaSafari #GreatMigration #travelseewrite

Raised in an Army household in Ambala, Archana Singh grew up moving cities, changing schools, and learning resilience early. In 2014, a dream Ladakh trip turned into a nightmare when a tour organiser disappeared with her money, leaving her stranded in Manali. She chose to travel solo instead of returning home, and that moment quietly changed her life. While building a successful global career with Coca-Cola in Southeast Asia, she began sharing her travel stories online. In 2017, she left the corporate safety net behind with no contacts and no guarantees. Today, she has travelled to 110 countries, including a nine-month journey from the Arctic to Antarctica that reshaped her vision of conscious travel. What began as a setback became Travel See Write, a purpose-driven global travel advisory rooted in responsibility, storytelling, and meaningful impact. Discover more about Archana Singh in this Global Indian piece. POV: You just spent $8,000 on a trip to Africa. You tipped well. You felt good about it. But the lodge was foreign-owned. The wine was imported. The booking was made through an international platform. Your guide got his cut last. This is called tourism leakage — and in some destinations, up to 80% of what you spend never actually stays there. I’ve seen it in Greenland, where expedition trips cost $18,000 and locals can’t afford fresh vegetables because everything’s flown in from Denmark. I’ve seen it in the Maldives, where the resort looks local but the ownership structure, the food supply chain, and the management team are anything but. I’ve seen it in the Galápagos, where the park gets its fee and the cruise company gets everything else. None of this means you shouldn’t go. It means go knowing how the money moves — and make a few different choices. Book direct. Ask who owns the lodge. Hire a local guide properly, not just tip one. Spend a day in the port town, not just on the ship. Small shifts. The money’s leaving your account either way. The question is just where it ends up. (Swipe for the full breakdown — Africa, Antarctica, Greenland, Svalbard, island economies, and what actually helps.) #TravelSeeWrite #ResponsibleTravel

I’ve always been intense. Deep. Loving. Giving. Clear about what I want. And for a long time, I wondered if that was “too much.” Too driven. Too self-aware. Too emotionally honest. Too high standards. But here’s what I’ve learned ???? The right person won’t be intimidated by your depth — they’ll meet you there. You won’t have to shrink. You won’t have to water yourself down. You won’t have to apologise for wanting respect, consistency, effort, emotional maturity, and peace. The right person won’t feel threatened. They’ll rise. They’ll match your energy. They’ll rise to your level. And one day it’ll click — You were never asking for too much. You were just asking the wrong people. If this hit a nerve, share it. Not for the algorithm — for the person silently questioning their worth tonight ????????❤️‍???? — #healthyrelationship #secureattachment #selfworthquotes #protectyourpeace❤️ #ᴋɴᴏᴡʏᴏᴜʀᴡᴏʀᴛʜ

Dreaming of Iceland’s Black Sand Beach? ???? The reality has changed. This is Reynisfjara near Vík í Mýrdal — once world-famous for wide stretches of volcanic sand. But as of early 2026, severe winter storms, unusual easterly winds and heavy Atlantic swells have eroded huge sections of sand, pushing basalt columns closer to the sea and narrowing the shoreline dramatically. It was also a major filming location: ???? Game of Thrones (Eastwatch scenes) ???? Star Wars: The Force Awakens + Rogue One: A Star Wars Story ???? The iconic “Gerua” song from Dilwale movie ???? I’ll Show You (Justin Bieber) …but the sand you saw doesn’t look the same in real life now. Why this is big news ➤ • Unprecedented coastal erosion this winter has removed massive amounts of black sand • Basalt formations now jut directly from the ocean • Some access paths and caves are altered or unsafe • “Sneaker waves” are still a major hazard — even more so with less beach buffer If you’re planning a 2026 Iceland itinerary, don’t rely on old pics. ????Comment ICELAND 2026 for the real conditions before you go. ???? #BlackSandBeach #Reynisfjara #Iceland2026 #VisitIceland southiceland IcelandTravel TSWExperience TravelUpdate

Honestly… I did NOT expect this much love on my last Jaipur carousel ????❤️ The one where I shared “90% of tourists make these mistakes in Jaipur”… But the number of DMs and comments I got asking: “Archana, what is this Meenakari workshop?” “Where is it?” “Can we actually make jewellery ourselves?” “Is it touristy or authentic?” So I decided… okay, Reel banate hain ???? Because this wasn’t just a workshop. This felt like stepping into Jaipur’s living heritage. I visited the home-workshop of Jaswant Kumar Meenakar, whose family has been creating Meenakari jewellery for royal families for over 400+ years (yes, FOUR centuries ????????). Here, you don’t just watch the craft… you actually get to paint your own Meenakari pendant with your own hands — using traditional tools, colours, and techniques. It’s slow. It’s calming. It’s beautiful. And honestly? This is the kind of souvenir that feels priceless… because you made it. If you’re coming to Jaipur and want a real experience (not just shopping + photos), this is IT. ???? Want details/pricing/slots? DM me or comment MEENAKARI, and I’ll help you sign up for the workshop. #TravelSeeWrite #VisitJaipur #JewelleryMakingWorkshop #rajasthantravel

Day 1 at @thegypsytravelfestival was honestly GREAT???? From exhibiting my travel company stall, to getting on stage and talking about alternate accommodations (with such a fab panel lineup!) — it was such a full-circle moment. The festival itself is such a cool concept. So many destination stalls, cooking workshops, cultural experiences… I genuinely couldn’t even cover 10% of it because there’s SO much happening everywhere. Moreover I met up so many old friends here. If you’re in Mumbai, please come say hi ???? ???? Stall A20 ???? Today is the LAST day! ???? @jioworlddrive ???? I’m also doing my session “Bucketlist on Budget” at 4 PM And yes — you can literally win free flights & stays + get super useful travel info. See you today? ????✈️ #GypsyTravelFestival #MumbaiEvents #TravelFestival #OffbeatTravel #BucketlistOnBudget
