➖Proper Handstand Form➖

* You can engage your protraction and external rotation, which could  both help you keep your ribs and your body on the top of the hands and base of support. 
* You can keep your elbows Locked because of the external rotations, which affects your handstand balance in a positive way 
* You can activate more muscles like serratus anterior and the upper back muscles.
* You can push the floor harder and perform easier a press to handstand.
* You can feel your shoulders much more comfortable , because there is more space for your ligaments and for your joint as well.
* In addition, the pressure does not go to the joints but is absorbed  by the  muscles. Therefore it’s a safer position for your rotator cuff. 
* May lead eventually to a severe health problem, called shoulder impingement syndrome.

If you would like to achieve or improve your front lever swipe left and check our video ✌?

We recommend you to work on these advanced exercises which can progressively improve your front lever.

If this is your first time trying to perform the front lever it would be better for you to do some easier variations, like skin the cat, single leg dragon fly etc. 

So the following exercises are: 

1️⃣ Inverted hang to front lever on parallel bars (use a resistance band to help you maintain the correct technique throughout the concentric movement)

2️⃣ Dragon fly raises (arms extended)

3️⃣Eccentric front levers

Adapt some or all of these exercises to your front lever training program. About repetitions is up to you, because everyone is at a different level.

? The most common mistake we make in this exercise is doing handstand like a banana shape.

? The time we spend to correct that mistake is usually too much & in the end we do not achieve the perfect form - the solid Handstand

⁉️ But why does this happen ?

✅ One of the main reasons is because our core is not so strong and it cannot stabilize us. So, we have to start strengthening it first on the floor and then on the wall. There are many basic and fundamental body-weight exercises for core stability. These exercises will improve your handstand by keeping your posture and your position stable. You can not fix such a fundamental ability upside down on the wall. 
So be patient, stay consistent and work hard.
Results happen over time not over night.
