Tonight we stood in a field of indigo plants and watched a beautifully intentional farm to fashion show surrounded by wonderful humans. Wandered through the fields where the food we eat from our CSA grows. Hugged and smiled with friends. Also I matched the installation so had to ask Adam to take my photo….

The largest dream catcher I ever saw drew us to the roadside stand where we spoke to a Diné man about his family, stories of the hummingbird, and bought small gifts.

He told us his parents made it (the dream at her) from their trampoline after it split when they were young.

I’m slowly sharing photos from our road trip, I had some hard days/nights and also just wanted to slow down and though I took photos (and Adam did, and total strangers!) I didn’t do much sharing.. more about that once we are home.

But today, please enjoy our little slice of the South and East rim of the Grand Canyon in my stories.

It was more amazing than I could have ever fathomed. Tears were shed by the vast and wild beauty, and though we were there on days where the visibility was poor due to California forest fires it was still breathtaking.
