one of my favorite concepts in branding is “curated reality” - it’s your real life, just lightly edited. a little smoother, a little easier, maybe a little brighter. It’s the principle I follow on all of my platforms, because I like to look at it. I like remembering my best moments, my biggest smile, the moments in which outfits fit the best. But this photo- which really wasn’t even intended for stories - made me laugh in its honesty, so it gets to live here too. I’m going on a BIG trip next month (any guesses? I’ll send the first right answer in the comments Starbucks $$$) and to prepare myself for my inevitable packing meltdown, I’ve been taking photos of every outfit I want to take and saving them to a special folder on my phone. My office is a mess. I repotted Sully (my monstera) and his stand is currently home to my hat and my caboodle, because their home is now occupied by a bunch of old magazines I bought for ?? a collage??
