To be honest, it’s so hard watching my definition fade, but at the same time it’s fun seeing my lifts progress and my muscles grow. ????????????

⭐️ Rest and sleep are just as important as your workouts. ⭐️
I said what I said. 
.
It’s Monday and I’m coming off my rest days. Yes, I do things around my house and still move my body, but I don’t do any heavy gym workouts. Instead, I give my body and my mind a chance to recover so I feel refreshed for my workouts the following week. 
.
In the past I used to think that if I didn’t workout every single day, I wouldn’t make progress or I would lose the progress I had made. This mindset actually held me back for so long. 
.
Now I realize the importance of those rest days(and actually enjoy them). And I definitely don’t undestimate the importance of sleep ???? when it comes to recovery either. 
.
So let your body recover, give it enough sleep and enjoy the journey.  Happy Monday.
