Happy Filipino American History Month! ???????? Celebrating this special month with a very exciting @ntsbracelets giveaway✨✨

Today I’m honoring my Mama (grandma) who immigrated from the Philippines to the US and successfully made a life for herself while raising her daughter and grandchildren here. My mama and papa were small business owners in the Philippines. Their store was thriving and both of them had a very prominent presence in their community. And even though she “only” worked at fast food places or casinos in the US, she raised a successful nurse (my mom), an internal medicine physician (me), a med student (my younger bro), and a dental student (my youngest bro). This woman is my biggest hero and I hope to be half the woman she is one day!
