The Eagles have traded CB Jameson Houston and a 2023 sixth round pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for CB Josiah Scott.

Scott, 22, was a fourth round pick out of Michigan State last year. He played in six games last year and recorded 11 tackles, including one for a loss. He played 80 total snaps on defense and none on special teams.

Houston was signed to the Eagles practice squad last November after going undrafted in 2020. Houston appeared in three games at the end of the year, recoding 22 snaps on defense and 22 on special teams.

The Eagles also announced that they have signed OT Casey Tucker, who had been on their practice squad briefly last year.

Most analysts had Johnson listed as an edge rusher but the Eagles are calling him a linebacker. @eagles_empire drew a parallel to Genard Avery’s role which sounds right to me.
