This Danish Teak “FD453” Sofa by the design team, Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Søn came in with some heavy damage. The armrest was glued back together by the client but the two front legs were blown out pretty bad. I decided the best way to fix it was mortise out the damage and replace it with similar wood. Now it’s back in it’s beautiful little beach cottage in Kailua Oahu.
