For a long time, I tried to fit in with the hearing world. Honestly? I don’t need to. I train because it’s mine..it’s my space to focus, push myself, and work on my mindset even on the days I’m not feeling it. Being deaf never stopped me, it actually made me more disciplined and more locked . I don’t need to hear cheers to keep going, I don’t need noise to feel motivated. I know why I’m here. If you don’t feel like you fit in either - good. You don’t need to…just show up for you, be consistent and back yourself. Everything else takes care of itself. @gymboxofficial @gymsharkwomen #breakingbarriers #deafcommunity #gym #fitness #womenwholiftweights #strengthtraining

48 hours in Venice - running, eating, exploring and carb loading my way through the city! ????????
A solo trip for my first half marathon abroad. There’s something freeing about exploring alone, you notice more, breathe deeper, and realise how capable you really are.. @hamptonbyhilton_venice made it all so effortless! A free shuttle to the expo to pick up my bib, early breakfast for runners, and the perfect pre-race pasta party. They really take care of you, so you can focus on running and enjoying the experience. Italy is the best place for carb loading - pasta, pizza, pastries, tiramisu!. Crossing that finish line solo is something to remember..doing it in such a beautiful city made it unforgettable @venicemarathon_official Thank you @hamptonbyhilton_venice for the perfect stay - the best base for runners to rest, refuel, and explore! #veniceitaly #hamptonbyhilton #running #halfmarathoner #solotraveller #runningcommunıty #italy #venice #marathon #travel #visititaly #fitness

If you go too fast on race day, are you really running your race or…chasing someone else?? It’s all about you vs you ???????? These photos capture more than times or numbers..they capture trust. The kind that only comes from showing up week after week, learning your limits, and finding rhythm in the hard work. Pacing isn’t about holding back; it’s about holding steady. It’s knowing when to push and when to stay patient. It’s awareness, control, and belief in your training. The progress you see in the numbers is just one part of the story. The rest is what you don’t see - the consistency, the discipline, and the quiet confidence built over time. Even when I’ve doubted myself through speed intervals that dread me every time! Proof that growth doesn’t always come from going harder sometimes it comes from learning how to run your own race. I trust myself. I trust my control and my body! @simonrphoto captured it so beautifully. #raceday #pacing #running #runningcommunity #fitness #perfomance @royalparkshalf @simonrphoto @bw.performance @gymsharkwomen outfit deets code INDIA10

My first solo international half marathon. Venice, you are something…♥️ I’ve always been fine with travelling solo and training solo, but doing it abroad felt different. There’s something about crossing that finish line and realising no one is there waiting that hits in a quiet, unexpected way.. It made me think about what strength really means. It isn’t always loud or celebrated. Sometimes it’s in the quiet moments when you pick yourself up, celebrate quietly, and keep believing that you’re enough without validation! This race wasn’t just about running. It was about learning how to stand at the finish line on my own and still feel proud of how far I’ve come. Thank you so much for all the support I’ve received, it truly means a lot! #venice #halfmarathoner #runningcommunity #running #solotrip

The trip was planned, but going solo wasn’t. Life just unfolded that way, and I still flew over to Venice. So here I am, eating pasta alone in Venice before race day. No team, no crowd, no noise just me, grounded, calm, and ready to do this on my own terms. Sometimes it’s in the quiet moments you realise you were never lost, just learning to listen to yourself. I didn’t plan to do this on my own, but maybe this is exactly how it was meant to be, just me proving to myself, again and again, that I can. Ready for race day tomorrow @venicemarathon_official ???????? #visitvenice #solotrip #carbloading #halfmarathon #raceday #running

1:35 PB!! It’s one of my favourite race @royalparkshalf so 10 minutes faster than last year…I’m still gobsmacked. I used to think progress was about going harder - now I know it’s about trusting the process. The zone 2 runs, the rehab sessions, strength work, the speed work you dread…they all add up. Belief and consistency beat everything. The girl who once doubted herself just proved what happens when you back yourself fully. Thank you for the best day @royalparkshalf!! ???? #raceday #halfmarathon #running #runningcommunity

I didn’t come out here for comfort..I came for the kind of challenge that tests who you are when there’s no one to lean on. New country. New challenge. Same unbreakable mindset. I don’t fear pushing myself. I fear staying the same..I want to see how far I can go, how much I can grow, and what my mind and body are capable of. Being deaf doesn’t limit me. It builds my resilience, sharpens my focus, and proves that strength isn’t always loud. Here I am and I’m not done ???????? #venicemarathon #halfmarathoner #running #mindset #runningcommunity #strength #solotrip #venice #halfmarathon

'Instead of walking out of studios feeling empowered, I'd be close to tears, feeling lost and alone – the fast-paced environments meant I couldn’t lip-read the trainer's instructions and the usually dark environments meant I couldn’t follow along – I felt like I didn't belong there.' As we celebrate Deaf Awareness Week, India Morse, a deaf fitness instructor and Women’s Health Collective trainer, is calling for more gyms and fitness classes to be inclusive for those in the deaf community. At the link in bio, India shares why gyms being inclusive is so close to her heart, and why it's so important to encourage better communication between deaf and hearing individuals. Tap to read.
