24 weeks pregnant & still going strong.. Just moving a little slower in between sets sipping on my @esncom.uk ???? ad. I’ve been getting a lot of questions about what supplements I am taking while pregnant and to be honest it hasn’t changed a huge amount! Aside from my prenatal supplements, omegas and iron, I’ve been taking: - ESN Daily: my normal blend of creatine, l-glutamine and collagen which is in one formula. I also add in a little extra creatine - ESN Milk Chocolate Protein, this is my favorite way to get my chocolate milk fix as I’ve been craving it so much - ESN Magnesium Biglycinate As with any supplements, you have to do what’s right for you after speaking to your health professionals and doing your own research ???????? ➡️ WORKOUT: ???? 3 x 12-15 Single Leg RDL’s ???? 3 x 8-12 Heel Elevated Squats ???? 3 x 8 Bulgarian Split Squats ???? 3 x 12-15 Kickbacks This was such a good workout and exactly what we needed ???????? Get your splits with these exercises & tips ❤️ ad. @gymsharkwomen I would have thought that being pregnant I would feel a lot more open with the different hormone increases but I actually feel a lot more tension in my hips especially so I have been doing a LOT of these to help keep my sciatica at bay! Work through these stretches and hold for at least 45 seconds, if not a little longer… If the stretch is intense, wait for it to ease off before changing ???????? It took me around 6 months to get my first split and I was practicing them almost everyday so be patient, don’t force it and trust the process ???????? I always wondered how I’d feel about being pregnant… Ad. @gymsharkwomen It’s something I’ve thought about and knew I wanted ever since I could remember. People asked me “how did you know you were ready?” I don’t know if you ever feel completely ready for this journey but the one thing I will say is; I know that I have felt a sense of longing for this. Almost as if I knew life wouldn’t feel “complete” without being a Mum. I don’t know if that sounds weird. I would wonder how my body would change. If I’d enjoy it. What my experience would be. Would I still be able to do my normal things? Would I still feel like me? It turns out… After 24 weeks of growing our tiny little human, I can say that it’s the most indescribable and magical feeling I’ve ever experienced. Is it easy? No. But most things in life that are worth having, don’t come easy and this is no exception. It has been so surreal to know that there’s a little person in there who’s half of me and half of the most incredible man I know. That even when I’m “alone” I’m not. I have my little person in there who feels everything I feel. My body looks different and wow it also feels different. I hold more water around my upper thighs. My boobs have never ever been this big in my life. Or this sore. As someone who’s been active their entire life and expected a lot from my body physically, adapting to these changes has been a journey of acceptance and surrender and I have a feeling this will be my new normal. But without a doubt, this is by far, my favorite version I’ve met of myself yet ❤️

Pregnancy sciatica fixes????????quite early on I was getting sciatica and it honestly worried me that if I didn’t get it under control, how much harder it would be the bigger my bump would get but the good news is, it’s never too late to incorporate these! My sciatica was so sore I was struggling to walk, lunge in the gym and sleep ???? So I went to a pelvic floor physiotherapist who specializes in prenatal care and these were the exercises that made the biggest difference for me and I can say I’ve been pain free for a over a month now! ???? The key is to keep doing them even when the pain isn’t there! ???? These are also some great labor prep exercises too so it’s a win win ????????????

Train with me at 22 weeks pregnant ???????? Someone the other day messaged me telling me I should remind women that perhaps staying active during pregnancy is not something to aspire to. I couldn’t disagree more. The science couldn’t disagree more. Unless you have been specifically told not to exercise during pregnancy, staying active in whatever shape or form that brings you joy and makes YOU feel good, IS good for you and baby. There is not a world where I would encourage anyone not to move unless there was simply no other alternative. I am here to share my journey, like I always have done with you and this new chapter is quite literally life changing in so many ways. If I can help or encourage one mama out there to look after their body, to still prioritize their physical and mental health throughout this journey, then I am happy. I also want to say this, if you are struggling to move during pregnancy for whatever reason, please don’t feel guilty. You are creating life, from scratch and that in itself is a huge job. Don’t ever let anyone convince you that you are not doing enough OR you are doing too much. This is YOUR journey and your physical and mental health and baby’s health are all that matters. I will move my body for as long as I can, not because I have to, because I get to. Pregnancy for me, is not an invitation to stop moving. If anything, knowing how beneficial it is for my baby, inspires me to keep going. ❤️
