The bright colors in this work provoke positivity and the hammer featured represents building and repair, both perfect metaphors for the state of race relations currently in the United States.

Making this piece for this project made me rethink what it means to vote. When you vote, you can be the change for the future and the change you wish to see in our world. At the end of the day, we all want to be heard and voting gives us that. Let your voice be heard loud and clear, and no matter what you believe or whom you support, your decision is your's, and we should all cherish that. Be the change you seek!

While making this piece, I wanted to highlight the importance of the youth growing up and eventually being able to vote. They will grow up and be the voices of the next generation and we should all make sure they see this opportunity in a positive light of bettering their future.
