I constantly work on different areas of my inner self throughout the year because anxiety takes over me sometimes and if I can’t avoid it- the best thing I can do is manage it. This helps me become even more compassionate with others, and in order to lead anything, you have to master yourself first. 

Being mindful means slowing down to really notice what you’re doing, which is the opposite of rushing or multitasking, to increase focus and stability. 

Here are some new habits I’ve taken up to do so:
- Keeping a gratitude journal, and writing down 3 things I am grateful for each day
- Keeping a weekly meal planner 
- Organizing my finances with apps that help create and follow budgets 
- Jotting down everything into my google calendar, and focusing on one task at a time
- Taking slower paced walks each day 
- Breathing deeper 
- Keeping strong boundaries on my energy, and strengthening my confidence in order to do so
