Update. After I posted on my Instagram, @Expedia DM me to contact support, which I explained to them I did. So today 1/21 I received another email saying that the property at which I booked my stay for itinerary Days Inn Daytona Beach Speedway has agreed to waive the penalty on my recent cancellation. Expedia has processed a refund. It will be released within 24 hours and will appear in 7-10 business days. The time when the refund will be available on your card is dependent on the issuer. Looks like my Instagram post had an influence on this decision. But what about the moral damage? They said about my cancellation or order, which actually was Days Inn Daytona Beach Speedway cancellation, they were the one, who wasn’t able to let me in. And what about all the struggle and stress I went through? Waiting in the cold , looking for a new hotel and I had to take 1st available close to the location, which was actually horrible(very dirty) and more expensive .. what about time I spent and I came without any rest on set? .. They make it look like they're pleasing me even though it's their fault!… ???? @expedia #fraud #fraude I booked a hotel on Expedia, but there was nobody at the lobby, the door was closed and nobody answered the phone. Manager Expedia called the hotel too, and nobody answered his call, so he opened the case. I just received an email from Expedia , that the booking is non refundable (cancellation less than 24h) and I am not gonna get my money back ‼️???? I Remember, I was driving to Daytona Beach for filming commercial ? So , I booked a hotel to freshen up after a long drive before the set, but ended up waiting about an hour in the cold trying to get in . I went to a hotel close by , and they also tried to contact receptionists , no luck . Expedia’s support manager called them , but nobody picked up his call, so he opened the case. And I just received an email from Expedia, saying that I am not gonna get my money back ???????????? is it a new way to do business and make easy money ???? or …? There's no other word…
