????SAVE this aesthetic snack that’s great for fat loss & healthy hormones???????? . Beets were a new food for me when I started my hormone health journey 4 years ago, & I’ll admit that I didn’t love them at first ???? BUT I knew they were super nutrient dense so I wanted to figure out a way to enjoy them & THIS????IS????IT???????? . ????RECIPE: 1 cup low fat cottage cheese + 1/2 cup garlic herb beets combined in a food processor until smooth????( optional: as a little sea salt to enhance flavor) . Paired with 1 cup sliced potatoes (I did mini ones here) air fried for 10-15 min @ 400° for potato chips???????? . Macros: 285 kcal 31P/33C/5F . Great Protein amount for a great meal or snack, but lower Fat & moderate Carbs make this more of a snack vs meal. Though you could increase the potato chip amount & add in veggies to make it higher calorie to be a more filling meal???? . My updated Fat Loss & Hormone Harmony Journey???? . My fitness journey started in 2016, I was 30 lbs overweight(I didn’t eat well or exercise)& I lost weight with extreme methods, losing my period in the process too. . I spent 5 years trying to get my body to a healthy & balanced place. I became a CPT, CNC, & learned how Macros could help you eat all foods without weight gain! I leaned into this mentality & it did allow me to start to feel healthier & more balanced with food. . But only focusing on Macros lead to me not eating the most nourishing foods because I’d rather have Carbs & Fats filled with pastries vs potatoes & avocados. Or I often chose Protein shakes vs animal Proteins. During this type of eating, I still couldn’t have a natural period & I strugglede with low energy & brain fog. . My period came back naturally in August 2021, it was painful & resulted in my body suddenly gaining 13 lbs. I tried to lose it with my old methods but it didn’t work… I realized I needed to learn more about the female body & metabolism. . 2022, I studied to become a Integrative Health Practitioner & learned how it was likely that my body had become so stressed from my previous eating habits (which were focused on low nutrient foods) that my metabolism slowed down. My body adapted for me to store fat because it wanted me to keep my period. We need energy (which can come from body fat or food) to keep our cycles. . I realized the female body’s main role IS to bear children(even if it’s not a current goal)& having a healthy cycle is needed. So my body was trying to support that. . I realized that it was time I started working WITH my body by eating in a way that supported female hormones & health. . Through this process my body & health have adapted to THRIVE! . In 2023, Nourishing Eating habits led to: ✅My metabolism speeding up by 400 cals(which made my recent fat loss phase easier!) ✅Less bloat/inflammation ✅Better Digestion ✅Pain Free Periods ✅No Crazy Cravings ✅More Energy ✅Less Brain Fog . PLUS me letting go of weight = fitness/health! . All of this had my body in its most healthy place to get pregnant & lose most baby weight rather quickly! (Read more ⬇️)

It’s crazy to think 4 years ago I thought I never wanted kids. But healing my hormones & getting in touch with my femininity made me realize “Why would I NOT want to do the most amazing adventure of life with my best friend?!” . God is so good. My hormone struggles with weight gain, painful periods, fatigue, bad skin, gut issues, etc,… all lead to me getting educated to help women & myself. It all lead to me being a better wife & becoming mother???? . Call me a revived Swiftie because I can relate to her songs again & couldn’t be happier for her ???? . I read an article that said this was the final song she made for the album because it was the vibe she wanted to end on…. That the ultimate Wi$h Li$t isn’t about money, fame or vanity… it’s about love & family ???? . I made this edit the other day & showed my boys & my son wanted to watch it like 20 times in a row. My husband laughed but I said “it’s a video of his family. His whole world. Of course, he loves it” ????

How I hit my Protein Goals while chasing my toddler & running my business ????????????????‍???? . Everyday looks different right now ???? Logan’s in an early riser phase since I stopped nursing ???? (bitter sweet for sure). . He used to wake at 5, nurse, then sleep till 7/8. Now? He’s UP early & ready for food ???? Which means my old routine of devotional + client work before the day started… gone. Motherhood is just constant adapting, isn’t it?! . His hunger is a bit all over the place so kind of a lot of snacking but I’m praying his sleep will level out & meal time eating with less snacks will too once we learn this new flow of life without nursing. . Right now I’m relying on stroller/car naps because he’s used to being nursed to sleep ???? And honestly? I can only handle the chaos of putting him down without it once a day at bedtime right now ???? #momlife . What’s saving me through this transition: staying HIGH-Protein ???? . ????Save & Share for a cheap & easy way to get in Protein this week???????? . Does roasting a whole chicken sound intimidating? I promise it’s easier than you maybe think! . Simple steps are: -Thaw if frozen & remove innards in bag inside cavity -preheat oven to 450° -Make garlic butter(recipe in pic) & brush all over chicken -Bake chicken in cast iron or roasting pan for 55 min (rotating 1/2 way through) *check internal temp is 165° . SWIPE????for how I enjoy, how to store, how to track the different types of meat, & how to repurpose the leftover bones for bone broth! . As I’ve been learning more about Mineral Balanced eating for metabolic & hormone health, I’ve been learning more about “nose to tail” eating for less waste & also allowing our bodies to get a variety of nutrients in Protein???? . Chicken breast is “king” in the weight loss space because it’s low Fat & high Protein, but there’s different/more nutrients in other parts of the Chicken that we should enjoy too! . Dark meat is richer in Iron & Skin is richer in collagen???? .
