Pura Vida adventure time in Costa Rica with the fam! We are joyfully reconnecting with this vibrant land with radiant beach days and lush jungle explorations. Yesterday was world mental health day…I didn’t post because I was taking care of my mental health. I woke up tired but did a deep meditation letting go all that does not serve my greatest good, then I exercised and breathed in some fresh air, still exhausted but I felt better. Then I set up a lemonade stand and chilled with my boys playing guitar, laughing and dishing out organic lemonade to local cyclist. It was a good day and I am grateful I choose to start it with meditation and a little self-care. Every morning I have a choice and I choose to prioritize my mental health. 
I use to be very anxious, constantly having panic attacks, my social anxiety was a nightmare, my chemistry felt off and I was making many poor decisions. I felt so unworthy of any love, I hated myself, I felt like I destroyed my life and wanted it to all disappear. I’ve almost ended my life multiple times. I loathed myself. I was depressed and so low but then I felt something, the grace in the suffering, I crumbled to my knees crying for help with no ease or comfort insight. I felt it all… I always thought I had to do this all myself, that this was my burden. It is not. I decided to change, to rediscover myself, to ask for help. I choose to love myself. 
It wasn’t an easy journey, I’ve felt lost and confused along the way but I would not be alive today if it wasn’t for prioritizing and evolving my mental health. Starting with small positive choices, flipping the victim mentality story timeline and taking my power back saved my life. I reached out and asked for help.  I tried a few therapist and therapy’s that resonated with me, I did my research and listened to my inner knowing. Having a meditation background was helpful as I was able to transform my “feel good” meditation practice into the deep dive into the uncomfortable parts of myself. Through the journey with incredible help from my allies of exercise, movement, breath work, meditation, fasting, nature, plants and animal spirits that continue my healing journey and process with mental health. 
You have the courage so reach out, ask for help and change your world. You are so worth it! ❤️
