So I just finished two series on Hulu called “Dopesick”, which is a drama series focused on the opioid epidemic, Oxy specifically, as well as a show called “Traffik: Fentanyl S1 E2”, which is about an investigative journalist that explores the distribution and creation of Fentanyl. The whole time I was watching it really hit home because one of my close friend and mentor’s son recently died from an overdose laced with Fentanyl. Do you know how powerful Fentanyl is? I was completely ignorant to how powerful it was and what it was at all for that matter… Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is up to 50 TIMES STRONGER THAN HERION and 100 times stronger than morphine……. Fentanyl is the leading cause of death for adults ages 18-45 in the United States. ..This drug is taking kids out left and right! You’re really rolling the dice if you taking any type of hardcore street drug these days as well because the cooks are lacing their H, meth, and coke etc w/ Fentanyl. The Traffik Documentary Series really breaks it down..Only a few salt like grains can and will kill you. The Dopesick series kind of shows the greedy mindset of some of these Pharma companies in particular the family that made Oxy so popular years ago. This may not affect you personally but at this rate it will effect someone you know in the near future if Fent usage continues to spread. Both shows really opened my eyes about the pain of addiction of everyone involved friends, family, and entire communities. We’ve got be careful with even some of these prescribed drugs especially Oxy if you have an addictive personality (as I do) and especially especially these street drugs because these dealers & cooks don’t give a crap about you and what you’re fix is laced with. Its always has been and always will be about profit, money but you already know that. Addiction is an unbelievably hard disease to shake so the best way to stop from getting addicted is education, awareness , and to not start at all. Just thought I’d share. I’m definitely nobody’s expert but I’m doing more research to see what I can do to help. God Bless. ❤️????????✌????
