It gets real dark by 4:30 PM and the way I’m coping up with this is by doing 4 back to back @toneitup workouts . With  Diwali weekend, Birthday weekend, and  thanksgiving weekend definitely need to get started with a proper routine now (wow November was so yummy!). Not complaining, I ate to my  heart’s content! Said no to no food . Indulged every bit of ittttt. ?? amidst all of this I had a detox week too just so I could fit in my birthday dress . My new resolution is going to be never to diet for a temporary fix but instead make lifestyle changes so I get all the long term benefits . For which I really need to check in more often here so I can hold myself accountable! Ranting done. Let’s go back to talking about how amazing I feel after all the #studiotoneitup workouts? My IG feed is filled with “how it started” vs “how it’s going now”. I was really hesitant to make this post but still wanted to journal my journey. The picture on the top was taken earlier this year when things were “normal”. I didn’t really have a weight loss goal back then. I was focused more on staying fit,  getting toned and most of all having a good mental health. With the whole work from home situation(not complaining), 24/7 access to snacks, lack of movement and just hours of increased phone usage; here I am with a gain well over 10 pounds . Definitely a reverse transformation. I have been trying to set up monthly goals to focus on eating right and getting workout done; although my lifestyle is pretty active(atleast that’s what I thought) with atleast half an hour  of workout everyday - something doesn’t seem right. It just feels like my food intake has increased and my body has gotten used to the workouts I’ve been doing so I might have to increase it to an hour(may be). Not sure! I tried increasing my water intake, journaling my food but I don’t feel like how I used to! My metabolism seems to have dropped significantly . What worked earlier doesn’t seem to work anymore. I did whole30 for a month but that is not something I want to do or can do consistently.  It just feels like I’m back to square one trying to figure out what would work for me. Had anyone else fallen into a plateau or ever felt your efforts aren’t paying off? And finally figured what actually works for you?Let me know! My secret to drinking 1 Gallon of water in a day? Fill water in a 1 gallon container ? Yes! I bought this hugeee water bottle from Amazon a month back and I’ve been making sure to fill it the first thing in the morning(sometimes the previous night if I don’t feel too lazy). The bottle has markings with time and some positive message that pushes me to drink water every hour. I was drinking just one 250 ml water bottle and never filled it rest of the day due to a 9-5 desk job. Now I just have to fill it once #quarantinewin . .
