Family flex for the fall ! ❤️✨

After 5 wonderful years of serving as the Community Center Director, at the Salvation Army North Corp, I have decided to take a opportunity to serve our community, but from another angle.

The timing is so serendipitous! It aligns to be not only best for my family and I, but also a power play to continue serving North Omaha & also now the South Omaha community. I give God all the glory and I am thankful for this new endeavor.

During this process, I would constantly ask myself, why leave if you serving your purpose and are successful. I learned that true contentment only comes from having faith in God, and how he provides everything you need. Over time, I have spoke my natural heart to God, along with my family through prayer and also just everyday life. Finally, I recognized that it all comes down to my vision and purpose, which is to serve the community.

All I want to do is please The Lord, and I attempt to do that by walking on purpose. There definitely was a fear factor in this process, about the uncertainty, but that’s when my faith came in. Inspired by Kobe Bryant, I have learned to accept and embrace fear, which ultimately gives me the opportunity to see it for what it truly is. It takes a certain level of courage to be as great as your dreams, and this is why I bet on myself. I faced my fears and turn them into fuel.

There are so many people to thank, but IG’s characters are not long enough! You know who you are, that helped me along the way.

I look forward to the future of this current capacity, whoever will take it to the next level, and lead, I pray they have a sincere heart for the community because that’s what it’s all about.
