Tipping Our Cap - (https://buff.ly/3mP8IBS) St Lucia’s Cap Maison may just offer the best food on the island From the picturesque Pitons to the stunning scenery, from the soothing calm of the beaches to the electric energy of capital Castries, St Lucia is one of the Caribbean’s genuine jewels. It’s also home to some of the islands’ best food and, in Cap Maison, one of the islands’ best hotels. And, thanks to a new programme called “Taste The Flavours of the Caribbean”, those two are coming together in a more potent mix than ever before. (https://buff.ly/3Qhg4vJ) It’s a series of holiday packages that celebrates #Caribbean #StLucia

Top Table - (https://buff.ly/34s8KKe) With only 16 covers a day, Roketsu will be one of London’s most exclusive restaurants Kaiseki is a form of Japanese dining that elevates an already frequently precise cuisine to even higher levels. Originally a meal served to Buddhist monks at tea ceremonies, Kaiseki’s simple, meditative qualities remain. It’s now a multi-course meal of small portions and subtle flavours that celebrate a different ingredient – typically highly seasonal – or cooking technique per course. And one of Japan’s leading Kaiseki chefs, Daisuke Hayashi, is bringing his expertise to Marylebone. (https://buff.ly/3uvUHOy) Having trained at the triple Michelin-starred Kikunoi in Kyoto #Japanese

Simply The Best? - Until the end of May, the World’s Best Steak menu is available in London (https://buff.ly/3FqeUcn) Lots of places claim to serve the world’s best steaks. For the rest of May 2022, London’s Heliot Steak House (https://buff.ly/3LTAmJb) may just be delivering them. (https://buff.ly/3MYTPZ2) Executive chef Ioannis Grammenos – Heliot’s exec chef and, it says here, the world’s first Meatologist – is head judge at the World Steak Challenge, a prestigious international annual competition that, actually, does seem to know what it’s talking about. (https://buff.ly/3KSoxBu) The competition’s award winners will form the heart of Heliot’s menu until May 31st, such as an #London #steakhouse

Grand Old Duque - (https://buff.ly/35Q7K3t) Tenerife’s Bahia del Duque continues to evolve When you have eight restaurants, a world-renowned fitness centre, an award winning wellness retreat, five swimming pools, and beach access, you’d forgive a hotel if it rested on its laurels. Not least as they probably grew the laurels themselves in their 63,000 square metres of tropical and subtropical gardens. Bahia del Duque, however, keep moving forward and, in addition to their eight restaurants – including the Michelin-starred Nub – they’ve recently opened a new contemporary Japanese restaurant called Kensei. (https://buff.ly/3I490gL) Kensei is headed up by chef Víctor Planas, who has over 22 #Japanese #Sushi #Tenerife

Fit For A Queen - (https://buff.ly/38w9non) A Royal salute from Royal Salute. Appropriately. Thus year marks – as you may have noticed – the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. And, however you feel about the Royal family, you’ve got to respect 70 years in the same job, right? To mark the occasion, Royal Salute, they who produce exceptionally aged Scotch whisky, are unveiling an ultra-prestige, limited edition collection called, perhaps inevitably, The Royal Salute Platinum Jubilee Edition. (https://buff.ly/3a5zinl) It’s a highly appropriate release from Royal Salute, whose first flagons were created in 1953 as a gift to Queen Elizabeth II on her Coronation Day. Exteriors of the Lowell Hotel Chopard and Manhattan’s The Lowell team up for a remarkable Valentine’s collaboration Can you put a price on true love? Collaborating with celebrated jewellery-makers Chopard (https://buff.ly/3aiT9zA), The Lowell “Happy Hearts Package” includes an overnight stay in a Lowell One Bedroom Suite Deluxe and choice of gift from Chopard, which will be expertly #Jewellery

Place & Chips - (https://buff.ly/3M0B1sM) Well, it's draughts, actually, for chef Ben Murphy’s new menu concept, but hey, they're the same shape as chips, and “Place & Draughts” doesn’t work as a pun… And moving swiftly on from the sub-editor’s plight, Kensington’s Launceston Place has a new menu concept. That’s a pairing of words that normally terrifies and annoys us here at Lusso Towers but, given the restaurant in question, we’ll let it go. (https://buff.ly/3JS15nL) Over the years, Launceston Place (https://buff.ly/39qSy9c) has pretty much defied categorisation and expectation. It’s been – and remains – a West London stalwart. Oh, You Wagyu - (https://buff.ly/35rYEJS) The best steak in the world in now available by mail order A lot has already been written about wagyu beef, from the highs to the lows. On the former side, it’s all about the flavour, the marbling, the precision of the farming, the lengths taken to keep the cows in question as chilled as bovinely possible. On the latter, it’s all about mislabelling, cynicism, and lesser quality beef being sold under fraudulent claims. So how can you make sure you’re getting the good stuff? Step forward Gunma Wagyu – which is now available to buy in the UK.

SAY It Again - (https://buff.ly/3NzUBMa) SAY Carbon Yachts is expanding to Marbella They’ve had success with SAY Carbon Yachts Ibiza and SAY Carbon Yachts Mallorca. And now SAY Carbon Yachts – to paraphrase a certain beer, probably the most technologically advanced manufacturer for carbon built luxurious day boats in the world – are expanding to the Andalusian coast. (https://buff.ly/3PF0fhU) Ultra-light, fast and powerful – they call themselves a ‘sports car on water’ – SAY’s manufacturing processes means they are produced with 50% less fuel consumption compared to their peer group. They also “electrified” yachting – in excitement and more literal terms – with the
