It's been 1.5 years but Natalie, age 10, has finished reading the complete Wizard of Oz series, which include 14 books. We've had easy and tricky access to these books especially with the last 5. One librarian told us they were happy to see someone reading these books as they were in the archives of the library! Natalie is an imaginative kid and bright kid and she really would tell us what she learned or understood in the books. These books are really quirky. Her favorite books in the series was The Patchwork Girl of Oz and The Land Of Oz. Highly recommend. . . #singerinkitchen #homeschool #5thgrade #wizardofoz #reading

It's been 17 years since I left Texas and I've never made kolaches or klobasnek and I'm glad I finally tried my hand at them thanks to @houseofyumm recipe. It was so easy and the girls had a chance to taste what I grew up enjoying as a treat. I wrapped them in beef hotdogs @hebrewnational_ and cheddar. I'll be making these again. ???? Foreign Language For Kids (@foreignlanguagesforkids ) is a fully integrated online Spanish program that teaches kids through fun, immersive video series. This is ideal not only for teaching homeschool Spanish but also an ideal way to teach Spanish in schools. We don't do a lot of online work but we keep 1 our 2 electives that are perfect like using FL4K Spanish. . . There are 4 levels to choose from depending on the age of the kids from lower elementary to middle/upper middle school. There are distant ways to engage the kids in learning Spanish and this by far has been the most creative way to immerse my kids in the language. They are learning facts about Latin American countries. This would be great for all in fact.
