This Saturday October 11th marks 1 year since we lost Brian. To honor him we are going to be doing tattoos on Saturday to support the Bruno family. We will have a sheet with preselected small Brian designs available. The tattoos will be available first come first serve in exchange for a donation to the Bruno family. We will also have a handful of merch available for those not looking to get tattooed. Brian poured his heart and soul into this tattoo shop. This place is a representation of Brian’s dedication to tattooing and is sacred to legacy! His spirit lives forever in these walls. Please come hangout and help us continue celebrating Brian. I got to tattoo this incredible @brianbruno design on a great client @joshua.t.rose recently. Joshua wasn’t aware of Brian beyond the design, and it gave me the chance to tell him what Brian meant to tattooing and to me personally. When I first started tattooing Brian hit me up online because he was interested in a painting of mine, and we ended up doing a trade. It meant so much at the time and still does to have someone of his caliber reach out and really validate what I was doing at the time. It gave me confidence I didn’t have to work harder and out more of myself out there. It only felt right to donate the money I made off this tattoo to his family. A couple of solid traditional swallows for Bryan. His take on the classic “MOM & DAD”. I started tattooing in 1996 and that summer most people didn’t know what traditional tattoos were let alone the meaning behind a pair of chest swallows. We were pumping out tribal, cow skulls, dream catchers, barbed wire armbands, and dolphins. Traditional was just about to make a comeback just like tribal and barbed wire are now. Classic designs never get old.
