@mykaylaskinner2016 IS AN OLYMPIAN with a heart of GOLD. Just wanted to share our love and admiration for our sweet friend. WE ARE SO PROUD of you Myk. MyKayla was a stand out from the beginning and we knew we had someone extra special join our #albionmaven family when she joined us. Integrity, humility, kindness, a desire to see those around her find joy and succeed— all of that and more. All of us here at Albion and everyone in this country is so proud to have you wear the red, white, and blue in Tokyo, girl. You have left your forever mark and showed us what it means to follow your dreams and WORK for it and stay true to who you are. You are loved and treasured and you’ve blown us all away. Congrats, sweet friend. ❤️. This is just the beginning.

ZANZIBAR! After traveling pretty hard for 2 weeks, coming to this paradise was exactly what we needed. The Indian Ocean water was everything and more we had heard of— the water was crystal clear; warm, shallow and and we’ve never seen more beautiful beaches. Miles and miles of pristine white, silky soft sand. Mango groves lined the streets and the architecture reflected Zanzibar’s rich history of Indian and Arab influence— as did the food which was AMAZING. We took a stab at #kiteflying and some of got a little further than others— guys it was HARD! Have any of you tried it before? We took a a little motorized canoe over to Prison Island which was never in fact used to hold prisoners but WAS used to house people during quarantine (could be ok with that I think). We fed giant friendly tortoises and played on the beach and drank some fresh coconut water (jury is out on that one). We spent 4 days here and enjoyed hanging out at the pool and playing in the water. Would love to come back again— it was magical. We had a 30 hour trip home to look forward to but it was time to head back and back to work. We’v never taken a vacation this long before and it was hard with the time change to stay up on work so we were so grateful for our team that did such a great job while we were gone so we could spend some much needed time with our girls. It was an adventure of lifetime, without a doubt. If anyone wants Info on hotels or how to book, let us know ?— we’ll get you hooked up. ❤️

THE CRAZIEST, MOST WILD DAY EVER. Leave at 8 be back by 2 they said… it’s just a controlled brush fire they said ?… oh we aren’t stuck in the mud they said… those lions aren’t hungry they just ate they said ?… we can ALL fit in this truck and be back home for dinner, they said. ? What a day. But guess what? IT WAS OUR FAVORITE DAY ON SAFARI! @jill901 and I jumped out to try to “help” get the truck unstuck and started kicking down (*trying to kick down) these sad little trees with branches that were invested with ants— and we were dying of laughter. @jessgee got up only for us to lose it after we saw she’d been sitting in a pile of dried fruit snacks in the sweltering heat for 3 hours and it was ALL over her pants (and no I’m NOT sharing the video)… @natmads had us rolling with her jokes and we all maybe went a little insane and started making up songs and song titles for an album we named “Concerns of the Serengeti” with tracks like “Not a good sign, featuring zebra, the carcass.” WE WERE LIVING OUR BEST LIVES and not knowing if we’d make it to our beds that night. And I love that about travel. You never know what’s going to happen: maybe it’s the most beautiful sunrise you’ve ever seen and maybe it’s getting stuck in the mud in the middle of the Serengeti for 2 hours and piling 22 people in a truck built for 8 singing Lion King songs because Malau your guide asked you to entertain everyone… ? What a day. The next 24 hours were magical. We played soccer with the lodge staff and @derekhough somehow caught himself on video SCORING A GOAL! Guys, we had to shoo away a herd of zebras that were on the soccer pitch!! ? Later, We ate dinner in the bush at sunset and saw the coolest Maasai warrior dance, and we laughed and played games and maybe cried a little because we all knew that the next we’d be leaving our separate ways. Thank you @taasalodge for taking such good care of us. The lodge was BEAUTIFUL but the staff and the people were really what made that place so magical. PS. Thanks Safari @jessgee for the trip of a lifetime. ❤️ This may be my favorite series of pics of us ever. NEXT STOP: Zanzibar #albiontravels #safari #bucketlisttrip

At night, we gather, we eat, and we go around and share our favorite moment of the day. Been doing this with the Gees on every trip for years. ❤️ Our hearts were full of gratitude every single night. To be surrounded by these magnificent animals, in the most beautiful location so far from home, with such dear friends and our sweet girls… it was overwhelming. What a beautiful adventure. ❤️ the good, the bad, the struggles and the wins—grateful for it all.

TAASA LODGE, Tanzania This morning we decided to spice things up a bit and have a dude’s car, a ladies car, and a kids car… 1 of these made it home safely on time; 1 of them got stuck in the mud; and 1 of them brought us all home through mud pits, a Serengeti fire, and a close encounter with hungry lions… Anyone wanna guess who was in what car!?? #safari #closecall #tanzania #travelwithyourfriends #albiontravels

Tanzanian sunsets, campfire in the bush, kids playing tag in the Serengeti and a surprise guest. SOUND ON for the last video. If you can’t sleep at night because of this, we’re sorry!

THE SWEETEST REUNION… wow. When our friends @thebucketlistfamily invited us on this adventure a year ago it took ZERO seconds for us to say, WE’RE IN! ✈️ And let me just tell you, we thought we knew @jessgee pretty well but SAFARI JESS is truly, the very best Jess there is and probably my favorite. ❤️ We landed on a dirt air strip and went straight on safari to get to @taasalodge (more on that later but guys— you have to go there if you get the chance!). Scroll through to see our FIRST LION encounter (and apparently Dave’s love for cats applied to the big cats too ?). This is also when we met our guides- Logo and Ruben. THESE GUYS! UGHH.. the best!! What an adventure! And it really felt like it was just beginning. SO MANY AMAZING MEMORIES were made.. still can’t believe it really happened. #bucketlist #safari #tanzania #albiontravels

JAMBO, TANZANIA! ?? The next couple of days were WILD! After seeing the gorillas we went back for a good night’s rest and made our way back to Kigali airport- 4 hour drive. Caught a plane to Kilimanjaro, then a 2 hour drive to ARUSHA. It was ALL DAY but we would have our first full day of safari to look forward to. We woke up to the most amazing breakfast and had some little unexpected visitors (swipe ?). We hopped in our trucks and drove an hour to Lake Myanyara and then hit up the NGORONGORO Crater the next day. We caught our first glimpse of a Maasai warrior, holding his rungu, herding his cattle. Cattle is their currency- they’ll never tell you how many they have exactly because they think it’s bad luck, but the more cows you have, the more prestige. As soon as we got to Lake Manyara park, we were greeted by one of my favorite animals: African elephants. So majestic and graceful. We saw baboons, water Buffalo, and couldn’t believe our eyes. They were all RIGHT THERE. My favorite part was seeing our girls have so much fun in the car with us- listening to music, sunglasses on, with all the stresses and worries of the last year melting away with each zebra that we passed. And ps I think ? are my favorite now. Did you know zebras are harder for lions to catch because they will zig zag away from them so that their stripes create an optical illusion? SO CRAZY! Speaking of crazy… we were all minding our own business, eating a yummy lunch, looking at some hippos in a pond when we heard a buzz… and our guides yelled, GET DOWN! We got down (some of us/I may have Started running first) and a cloud of darkness hovered over us: KILLER AFRICAN BEES! ? What!? After about 3 seconds of sheer panic, and a lot whimpering (Me and the kids), they flew right by. Our Linda’s response said it perfectly, “I always thought dying from killer African bees was an irrational fear— I guess it wasn’t”. ??‍♀️ That day we spotted elephants, lions, water Buffalo, impalas, zebras, hippos and even a rhino (only 600 left!). What a day! The hotel we stayed at was… WOW. I took some snaps but you can’t really do it Justice. The last pic. ❤️ NEXT stop: @taasalodge
