Anyone just need an escape right now? (Swipe for a reminder to be nice to nature) 🌤🏝🔥 - Years and years ago I used to always view escapism as a bad thing. I was always focused on the long term and planning for the future that would never come. I was obsessed with my 401k at 22 while everyone was getting smashed at the bars. - That’s probably the reason why I found new life in photography. Since taking the dive off the deep end over the past couple years, I’ve learned that escapism isn’t necessarily bad, but it is really unhealthy if you don’t check yourself back into reality. - It’s why when we play video games for 15 hours straight we feel like crap, even more so when we overlook our responsibilities to do so.
