I wonder if the “Wrinkle Police” will read this post? That’s what I named this lovely woman who made some pretty nasty comments to me a couple months ago. I wrote a blog about it on amydavidson.com - she got to me. Can ya tell? 🤪And yes, I cried... I know that’s pretty silly, and I understand the ins and outs of social media- when you put yourself out there you open yourself up to ridicule. But why be nasty? Why go out of your way to make comments that are going to hurt someone’s feelings? I guess I just don’t understand that sort of thinking. I know I’ve hurt peoples feelings before, but never on purpose! I don’t know… I’m off on a tangent! Anyway, as much as this woman got to me for a moment, I really feel like I owe her a thank you. Even though she’s hiding behind her computer screen 👩🏻‍💻 writing unkind comments, she helped me realize what’s important and what is petty. I wrote a blog about “these wrinkles” a couple months ago and it resonated with a lot of you. So for that, I’ll take her rude comments. It’s a pretty funny read- UNCENSORED, which was a blast to write! 😉 I was really blown away by the support on Instagram and my blog and I wanted to say thank you, again. We are all getting older, we are all getting wrinkles and I don’t see how blatantly pointing that out (negatively) does anyone any good. So let’s just be nice to each other and take care of ourselves... If you choose judgement, please go somewhere else.

Lennox is back! His fever is gone, he’s sassy as ever and demanding MORE tv. 🙄 Let’s just say he got a ton of “extras” while he was sick and I was happy to oblige. Now, back to the real world, kid!

As for my real world? Well, I have a sinus infection and walking pneumonia. How awesome is that?!🤪🙄😳 It goes to show you that as parents, our health goes out the window when our littles get sick. I knew I didn’t fell “well,” but I didn’t think I had pneumonia!!! Last night my chest hurt so badly from coughing and my throat was on fire so I finally made a doctor appointment for myself. Happy to hear that neither are contagious so I will go along with my normal day and pray this yucky sickness goes away ASAP! .

3 years ago, right about now- 11:30pm, was when it started to get REAL. Really fast! What a night. It started out fun. I know, right?! Fun?! Well, when one of your bestie‘s comes into labor and delivery to visit and watch @thebachelorabctv with you and your hubby, that makes for a pretty awesome Monday night. Thank you, @thereallacey for sharing this amazing memory and moment with us. I’m so glad I got to make you laugh! We’ll keep it at that! 😉I remember looking at you when I felt my first contraction 😳(I was induced, so it all came on pretty fast) ...And, knowing that you were ALSO pregnant, carrying sweet Julia, warms my heart beyond! 6 months later, TO THE DAY, we met your precious one. I’m a bit emotional, can y’all tell?! You can SWIPE to see our cute pic ❤️

Well, Lennox will be three years old in about 12 hours and I’m beside myself. I’m kinda sick of crying. 😭 Good cries. Some melancholy, but I guess to be expected. Once upon a time, there was a young girl who grew up among the “cacti” in a very hot desert.🥵 As a wee one, she did not have a love for these cactus plants surrounding her home.🤷🏼‍♀️ Mind you, they were EVERYWHERE. She never thought so many years later she would fall so deeply in love with cacti and succulents, dreaming of ways to put them in every corner of her home.🌵Literally, EVERY. CORNER. So when this girl grew up and became a mommy to a baby boy,👼🏼 she was over the moon when this sweet one revealed that he too, shared her love of desert plants.🤗 Together they browse nurseries, go to botanical gardens and plant these special thick leafed beauties. Maybe one day this little boy will become a world renowned botanist?👨🏼‍🌾 Or doctor?👨🏼‍⚕️ Rockstar?👨🏻‍🎤 Superhero?🦸🏼‍♂️ Whatever makes his sweet heart happy! Just always remember to bring mommy succulents! 🌵❤️🌵
