Standout projects making waves around the web

Why did we sell our home? That is hands down the #1 question sitting in my DMs. The answer has layers… and I’ll share what I can while still protecting the parts that aren’t just my story to tell. Some of you have been here since the beginning when we moved back to the U.S. from Romania and lived in an RV on our property with a bunch of babies, homeschooling while we gutted our home down to the studs. We basically kept the outer shell and rebuilt everything. It was chaotic. It was exhausting. It felt wild and brave and full of hope. But behind the scenes, I didn’t have the luxury of simply being home to be a mom and homeschool. As a mama of seven, life has never really been slow. We needed income, so I opened an elderly home care business. Two years later I gave birth to Eli. Then I built my Young Living business which, if I’m honest, stretched me even more than the elder care business. Doing Zoom calls, posting consistently, answering messages, packing orders, all while breastfeeding and running on broken sleep. I worked long hours in my closet at night after everyone was asleep and woke up early before anyone woke up. During that season, I gave birth to our sixth son, Abdiel. Then walked through a miscarriage… quietly carrying that grief while still hustling as hard as I could to keep everything afloat. When the compensation plan changed, we were forced to pivot financially. So I reopened the home care business. Again. Then I gave birth to our 7th baby, Noah… and filled the house with elders right after labor. No pause. No maternity. Just diapers on one side of the house and adult briefs on the other. I was deep in the thick of motherhood: Teenagers. Preteens. A toddler. A newborn. Homeschooling. Elders needing 24/7 care. No caregiver but Dan and me. It was the most challenging, exhausting, mentally overwhelming season of my entire life. I was praying fervently for a way out. Not polished prayers, desperate ones. I felt like I was physically and mentally collapsing, yet I kept showing up every day as if I was “all good” because everyone around me needed me steady. Dan and I had our very first Valentine’s when I turned 16. I married him at 18. 28 Valentine’s Days and 7 babies later… he is still the only one ???????? Why? Because of Ephesians 5:25 “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her.” & Titus 2:4 “to love their husbands and children” This kind of love is sacrificial.
It’s sanctifying.
It’s caring. It’s not butterflies and roses… it’s choosing each other when life is exhausting, when money is tight, when the babies are crying, when you’re both stretched thin. It’s forgiveness. It’s staying. It’s praying. I first laid eyes on Dan playing the accordion in church when I was 16???? years later he’s still playing… just upgraded to the piano ???? too ???? What about you?
How long have you and your man been together, and what’s the best relationship advice you’ve learned along the way?

Okay mamas—if Colorado is on your travel list, save this ???? Here are all the deets from our winter trip to Pagosa Springs, and honestly… it was pure magic. January in Pagosa = cozy + adventure ❄️ ✨ Hot Springs Soaking Dan and I had our date at the world-renowned The Springs Resort & Spa, then he brought the kids back later and they soaked until midnight ???? Over 50 geothermal pools, cold river plunges, a waterfall, and a steam grotto. Mineral-rich, dreamy, and yes… we did the cold plunge ???????? ???? Skiing & Snowboarding We grabbed passes at Wolf Creek Ski Area (hello, some of the best snow in Colorado!). The big boys snowboarded, the littles skied, and the first day we enrolled them in ski school—which was 10/10 worth it. ❄️ Winter Sightseeing Fun • Treasure Falls near Wolf Creek Pass—completely frozen and breathtaking • Ice skating at the ponds behind River Center Park • Eating our way through little pizzerias (Rosie’s Pizzeria) and cozy coffee shops like Faire Society - Cafe & Patisserie ???? Where We Stayed Little Rabbit Cabin—the coziest little gem. Teddy bears, books, movies, a king bedroom + private bath on the main floor, and two bedrooms + bath upstairs. If you’re craving cozy cabin vibes, this is it. Now tell me—have you been to Colorado?! Where did you go? What places do you love? Drop your must-see recommendations below ????✨ #colorado #snow #familytrip #pagosasprings #hotspring

Eeek… my heart is fluttering exciting things are unfolding ????✨ After years of pouring every ounce of myself into motherhood and building business, this mom of seven is stepping into a new season pivoting back to working alongside my man, doing what we’ve always loved. We’re stepping into meetings with one of the best architects in Texas. Sketches, ideas, and big God-sized dreams. I get to work hand in hand with an award-winning architect to design our luxury dream home. Dreams revisited, hands linked, vision shared. Design and building have always been woven into our story. Back in 2004 in California, Dan and I built our very first luxury home. I designed it, Dan built it, from the ground up. Every home we’ve lived in since has carried our fingerprints… built, designed, or lovingly remodeled. From an intricate iron staircase in Romania to the last home we rebuilt and just sold. Two young dreamers, wildly ambitious, with an eye for art, a gift for creating, and faith bigger than our resources. And now… here we are again. Full circle. I’ve been praying for God to open these doors once more and He did. ???? So tell me?! What would you love to see? Would you want me to share and document this home-building journey, the faith, the real behind-the-scenes moments? ????✨ #luxurydesign #homedesign #godisgood #bigfamilylife #builders

Noah is ONE. Our seventh baby ???????? In the Bible, seven is the number of completion. The day God said it is finished. The mark of something whole, ordained, perfectly written. And then God gave us Noah. His name means rest… comfort… peace “He will comfort us…” – Genesis 5:29 And that is exactly who he has been to our family. This little boy brought a calm sweetness we didn’t know we needed. Every one of us is completely smitten. The way he smiles, the way he dances the second music comes on, the way he toddled off walking before he even turned one ???? Seven. Completion. And a baby named peace. Only God could write something this beautiful ✨???? Did you ever make plans for your life, just to have God lovingly cancel them and then realize later His way made you happier than you ever could have planned? Tell me ????????‍♀️????????‍♀️????????‍♀️ “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 19:21 #birthdaydecoration #godsplan #bigfamily #explorepageready #explorer

This is your reminder that God writes better stories than we ever could. One year ago, He gave ours a new chapter. Happy ONE year birthday to our seventh baby ???? Our precious Noah Amiaz. There are no words big enough for the joy you brought into this family. From your first cry to the way you light up every room, you have wrapped every one of us around your tiny fingers. God gave our family the most beautiful gift — YOU. And I know with all my heart He has the most incredible, purpose-filled destiny written over your life. Happy birthday to our littlest love. ????#one #birthdayboy #birthdaycake #motherhood #birthday

If ya missed it… surprise ???? we moved this January! And before I keep answering the same questions in my DMs on repeat (I see you, I love you ????), let me just say this first… This little corner of Instagram really feels like home. You’re not just followers, you’re community. So many of you have walked with our family for over a decade through motherhood, babies, goats, businesses, prayers, and a whole lot of “trusting God as we go.” So here are the official deets: Question 1: Did you move out of state? Are you leaving your home church? Nope and nope. Still Texans ???? Dan and I dream about four seasons… but God gave us something even rarer. ALL 10 of my siblings and all 7 of Dan’s living close by. For families our size, that’s basically a miracle wrapped in sweet tea. We were the first to move to Texas, and now we get to stay rooted in the community that prayed with us, grew with us, and helped blaze the trail we now get to enjoy. So we’re staying local and very thankful ???? Question 2: What’s happening with @acaringhand4seniors This one is tender. Every one of our beloved residents was placed into beautiful, loving homes carefully, prayerfully, and with their families’ needs front and center. They were never “residents” to us… they were family. And yes, we’re still close with the families we’ve had the honor of caring. Question 3: Are you still homeschooling? Yes ma’am ???? Jonah & Josiah are seniors this year with Abeka (HOW?? I blinked ????) And Abdiel is starting K-5 with Abeka big kid energy activated. Question 4: What about the 9 goats? They went to live with family ???? Which means we sold them… but emotionally we just outsourced goat care and gained visiting rights. Question 5: So where did you move? We’re currently in a temporary home finally unpacked, organized, and living close to family and community This season is full of prayer, excitement, and a few “Lord, we trust You” moments. Stay tuned for our next post where we’ll share what Dan and I are stepping into next with God’s help and a whole lot of faith. #2026goals #bigfamilylife #faith #godgotme #homeschool

This post comes a little late, but my heart wouldn’t let January pass without honoring this moment. As many of you know, we sold our home, and before 2025 came to an end and before we closed the doors to the house that held so many memories, our older kids asked for one last thing. They wanted to end the year the way they’ve learned to… in prayer, alongside their church youth family, something they’ve been faithfully doing after Friday night youth services. It felt like the most beautiful way to say goodbye. That night, our home became an altar. The rooms echoed with worship, heaven felt near, and Jonah shared his testimony of God’s deliverance and a deeply personal encounter with an angel. As a mama, my heart overflowed. Grateful beyond words that our children are growing up rooted in faith, surrounded by a community that points them to Jesus. Homes may change, walls may shift, but what God is building in their hearts will remain forever ???? #teensforchrist #worship #prayer #prayerchangesthings #bigfamily
