What a day! My brother Valmyr Neto @vnteam just got promoted to 5th-degree black belt by our Professor Ricardo Vieira @checkmateurope ???? After 27 years on the mats and 19 years as a black belt, this man keeps leading by example. Neto never stops!!! He runs one of the top academies in the UK, is a husband, father of three (plus a dog ????), coaches, trains every day, and still competes at a high level. @marcosratinho Hey, I’m Marcos, born and raised in Rio ???????? Just moved to the UK after almost 15 years in Dubai. My wife’s from here, so we decided to be closer to family. I’m a 4th-degree Jiu-Jitsu black belt with a Business degree and an MBA in Leadership. I run a gym, an e-commerce and sports mentoring company, and I’m currently training at Roger Gracie Academy Marlow and Roger Gracie HQ in Hammersmith. Got a few comps coming up and some exciting projects in the works, staying busy on and off the mats. Our dog Chai ???? is a Cocker Spaniel full of energy, if we don’t take him out twice a day, he’ll definitely let us know ???? I’ve had all kinds of pets over the years, but I’ve always adopted or rescued. There are so many amazing animals out there waiting for a home. ❤️ And yes, 100% agree. It’s no coincidence all the good people in Jiu-Jitsu are dog owners ???? Loyalty, respect… same values on and off the mats. #thedogsjits

Had an amazing time with my family in Rio during the holidays, after 4 long years apart, every moment felt truly special. ???????????? I wish I could have stayed longer, but everything happens for a reason. I’m leaving re-energized, grateful, and more determined than ever to prioritize time with them in the future. Now it’s time to head back to Dubai, my home (for now), and get back on track. Let’s get things done! ????

Counting down my last few months in the UAE… Grateful for every opportunity, every connection, and every lesson this journey has given me. This country will always be a part of my story, but now it’s time to move forward. New projects, new plans, same goals!
