We really need to stop talking negatively about ourselves! I’ve been catching myself lately and working hard not to say anything negative about me. Hopefully this post can be that little reminder for you too ❤️ We grew up in a generation where it almost felt ‘wrong’ to love yourself or think you’re it… but the truth is, you HAVE to. Self love isn’t selfish it’s necessary. ✨ Something that’s been helping me so much is practicing gratitude. I wake up every day thankful that people are happy and healthy. I even did “The Magic”with some of my friends (it’s a book like the secret) and it taught me to be grateful for things I never would’ve thought about before. This has been by far the hardest thing I’ve ever done mentally and physically! This video shows my bump at 32 weeks and then before giving birth at 37 weeks! You can see how fed up I was lol! Then up until now ????Carrying twins was a challenge in itself, but then just four months later I found out that I was pregnant again and had a nearly 10 pound baby boy! Looking after twin toddlers while carrying a baby was so hard! When I had the baby and I finally started to feel better after my youngest turned one, someone crashed into the side of my car, giving me bad whiplash. My fitness journey got delayed again! I remember when I first found out I was having twins, I was so worried about how I’d cope and about how my body would be. I used to spend hours online looking for other women who had twins, and it helped me so much to see them thriving afterwards. So if you’re reading this and feeling the same, please know, it will be okay ???? I still have a long way to go to get to where I want to be, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I’ve learned to take my time, be kind to myself, and stay grateful for what my body has done. Thank you for following my journey. I hope I can help other women along the way.
