So.....Today 6-12-48 is my favorite girl in the whole wide world (my mommy)‘s birthday. She recently passed away on 5-7-20. I went through so many emotions because I felt like God betrayed me. I’ll told my Bestfriend @onlyniko that I was going Atheist for 30 days because quite frankly God had me fucked up ! She knew I was speaking from pain and Quickly told me that she would be standing in the gap while I was away. When you’re in relationship with God it gets real. His ways are not our ways so there will be times that you don’t understand him but must trust him. Me being atheist lasted all of 2 days. I admit that I’m nothing without god !!! In him I move, breath and have my being ! I told Koko that she didn’t have to stand in the gap for me anymore. I’m an addict girl!!! I’m mad at him and still can’t stop fooling with him lol The amount of love and support and prayers that god showered upon me through my family and friends was overwhelming. I thought , how can I feel the power of gods love at such a tragic time. It healed me in a way that I can celebrate her life and all the good times and not focus on her not being here. I thank God for for the transforming power of his love. I truly don’t know where I would be without him. My mommy’s favorite thing was red lips and gold jewelry. It’s been almost three years since I’ve posted on ig. My daddy passed away,mommy had a stroke and it just about took me all the way out. It’s so important to be present in life so you don’t miss out on what really keeps your heart beating . Today is my daddies birthday. This post is for him. Before he left we had a conversation that I’m so lucky to have had.To be a black gay male and have the acceptance of your father is likened to seeing a unicorn.
