Just got this piece back from a recent exhibition in Santa Barbara. I named it “Born to be Alive”. It’s the last piece available from my 2019 “Superunknown” show at the Castelli Art Space. It’s incredibly intricate, tactile to the touch with multiple layers of enamel paint & patches of raw canvas. It took me over a month to complete.
