A veces olvidamos el poder que tenemos de crear, dejar huellas positivas y de unir. Una vez más, gracias a la familia de @cafedonjuan por hacernos parte de su Summer Drinks Playoff y por poner ese granito de arena a seguir uniendo la comunidad del café. I met my younger self for coffee today: • She was 10 minutes early, I was right on time. • She was telling me how frustrated she was about giving her heart and not being valued. I listened and told her that her heart was beautiful, and that the right person would see that too. I shared that I found someone amazing who makes my heart feel safe - it really does happen when the time is right. • She also told me she was giving her all in every aspect of her life but felt like having her own home was impossible. I shared how I remember feeling that way, and told her about my peaceful weekends at home now, making coffee and taking care of my plants - that it really does happen. ???? • She mentioned how exhausted she was from criticizing her body and the stress of trying to maintain it. I told her I understood that struggle, and that she would learn to be gentler with herself, working out for health and embracing her body’s changes with love. • She rushed and said she had to go or she would be late for her shift. I hugged her tight and told her she was doing better than she knew. I sat there a while longer and finished my coffee. ✨✨ I cried a little writing this, because I am constantly aware that I am living so many of the dreams I had when I was younger. I appreciate and value everything in my life and want to slow down time to feel every single moment a little while longer. ✨✨ ????

Si lo piensas, la vida es un suspiro. Cada día tienes la oportunidad de decidir cómo las cosas que te pasan, te suman o te restan. No digo que es tarea fácil pero, ciertamente está en cada persona escribir la magia de su día. No sé a quién más le pasa pero, yo pienso mucho en mi pasado. En todos los obstáculos y momentos difíciles que me han llevado a ser quien soy. Todas las veces que anhelé todas las cosas que hoy estoy viviendo. Por eso no me permito stay down and low porque genuinely, tengo tantas cosas por la cuales sonreír y de verdad que me llenan el alma. This is a very happy and grateful Faby writing today. ????
