I didn’t want to do a 30 day social media fast… but when ya hear God calling you to do something, you just gotta listen ????

Not gonna lie, the hardest part was just deleting all my apps. The freedom I found shortly after was invigorating though!

A lot of people asked me during my social media fast was WHY I was doing it>>

My phone had become a mini master that threatened my peace ~

The points of fasting is feasting. When I stopped consuming the temporary things of the world, I free myself up to feast on the eternal presence of the One who made the world!

From the start of 2022, I could feel in my heart God has some big big plans this year;
I wanted to open myself up to hearing them by laying down the distractions of my phone and devoting myself to loving him and others.

I couldn’t know the peace and power of God without spending TIME with him, and I’m so thankful for this time of reflection & solitude to grow in spiritual discipline + devotion.

Highly recommend unplugging for a bit so you plug into what is lasting and worthwhile. Go to the Word before the world! ???? ????????????
