So it’s my birthday and I’m 36 years old. I’ve never cared to announce my birthday but this one is special. I have an abundance of gratitude in my life. Last year I actually thought about hanging it up because it was incredibly difficult. I came out the gates running towards the dream and never considered it not working. Last year tested me on how bad I wanted it. All that to say, I found my Why. Simply put, I love telling stories and I believe each of us write our best stories. Mines is still at the prelude. I can feel me etching closer to chapter 1. I don’t know about the rest of you in your mid 30s but I find that I’m obsessed with philosophy and my view of people and my place in the world. The hardest thing any of us can do is be ourselves … especially in LA when everyone wants to make it NO MATTER WHAT. But I’m growing more into myself and more importantly the understanding of what that means. For my fellow dreamers, remember nobody owes you anything, don’t take the lack of help personal, surround yourself by unrealistic people who dream just as big as you, you’re never too old to pursue what you love, letting go of an old dream and finding a new one doesn’t mean you failed you change every day and sometimes your dreams do to, and lastly remember “Dream don’t come true when you sleep” so wake the hell up and get about it ✌️
