During my visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, I had the profound privilege of meeting an extraordinary community of women from Srebrenica who have endured unimaginable hardships during and after the war. Many of them suffered the loss of their entire families — husbands, children — while others survived severe abuse and displacement. Despite the deep scars of their past, their resilience and strength remain a true inspiration. Emina’s Hand Foundation In collaboration with the organization Znaga Žene, under the leadership of Dr. Branka Antić Štauber, we implemented economic empowerment initiatives aimed at providing these women with the tools to rebuild their lives. Through the establishment of greenhouses, they are now able to cultivate their own produce and generate sustainable income, restoring not only their livelihoods but also their dignity, independence, and hope for the future. @eminashandfoundation #womenempowerment

It was an honor to attend the 2BS Forum’s 15th anniversary edition, where the panel “The Power Paradox: Allies, Autonomy, and America’s New Compass” brought together respected leaders and voices.
