FERTILITY. This was one subject that I became all to familiar with on our journey to start a family. We had a PLAN, but our “plan” quickly turned into a JOURNEY filled with ups and downs, so many tears and unanswered questions. I want to share a bit of our story here to let others know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. ???????????? (I will upload a video to YouTube explaining more of our story) We started trying to conceive in 2019. After months of unsuccessful cycles I went into my OB to ask questions and learn why we weren’t getting pregnant. My Thyroid was a little high so I started medication for that. Within 2 months all was good. After many more visits I learned that “nothing was wrong with me” and that I should be pregnant within 1 year. They say that 90% of couples will be pregnant within 1 year of trying to conceive. We were not in that 90%. At the 12 Cycle mark @danielbooko and I decided to visit a fertility Dr. After many more physical tests and blood tests... we were diagnosed as having “UNEXPLAINED FERTILITY”. My heart broke. I was being labeled as “Infertile”... but they didn’t know why. I felt helpless and broken, but through my Faith in God and the love and support of Daniel, I came back to HOPE. With a new resolve and positive outlook we decided to step into the part of our journey that was trying to conceive with medical help. We went through 3 rounds of IUI. (I will explain more in the YT video) It was 3 months of medication and shots filled with hormones and medical procedures all to end in NO PREGNANCY. By our last round of trying to conceive with medical assistance we were both pretty broken and sad. Daniel stayed strong for me, but was still really effected by this point. We took time for my body reset after months of hormone injections and started to prepare for IVF later in the year. We continued using ovulation predictor kits, meditating, yoga and acupuncture as well as prayer of course. The next month we found out that we were PREGNANT ???????????? {CONTINUED IN COMMENTS}
