Receive the gift of Repentance. When God shows you your shortcomings, run to Him, ask Him to forgive you and ask Him to help you change in the way that will bring out the best version of you, the one that loves others as He does. This is the greatest healing agent of all kinds of physical and emotional alignments. Never underestimate the power in this daily practice. Receiving the gift of repentance is not about shame — it’s about freedom. ???? He took your transgressions to the cross and said to God the Father, forgive them, they know not what they do, but then after He was resurrected He came back with the promise of the Holy Spirit - Him in spirit that is, who gently convicts, guides, comforts and leads us so that no one could say they didn’t know. Oh we know, and that’s why repentance is needed by all…. Then grace steps in to lead us on a better path, Then healing comes and we get better. Thank you Jesus! Repentance does not mean asking for forgiveness without change. You must change! But with God’s help you can. It takes accountability and acceptance of short comings not brushing it under the rug. Repentance is an invitation to that process of change, not a punishment. It’s God lovingly drawing us back to His heart. It’s the moment we realize we don’t have to carry the weight anymore. “God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance.” — Romans 2:4 His kindness. Not fear. Not condemnation. Kindness. When we repent, we aren’t groveling — we are returning. We are turning our face back toward the One who never stopped loving us. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9 Repentance is a gift because it restores intimacy. It softens hardened places. It realigns our hearts. Chasing foxes ???? is a waste of time. Remember, we love everyone, no matter what. Love tells the truth and lives in it so stop fighting with a carnal mind- Rise with the amour of God and do what it takes to stand in the truth. It’s a spiritual war that is taking out people’s minds, body and souls. A little compromise here and a little there… and now look at the world, it’s demon invested and people need to learn how to fight right- not each other but the real enemy. I know, if you’re still stuck in the 2D world you’ll need to ask Jesus for eyes to see and ears to hear. He’s the only one with the REAL power- but those who know Him carry that very power- so buckle in and get at it! “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. First in the morning, first in your decision making, before your friends or families, before your children, before your spouse, before the church, before your boss, before your personal wants and desires…. Yes, those other things above are important and perhaps God gave them to you to honour, to learn from but never to prioritize over His guidance and counsel. He is still first no matter what. The more time you spend with Him the more you’ll understand why. Trust me, He and His counsel (The Word of God, the Bible) deserves to be first above all. “Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.” Matthew 22:37-38 NKJV But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Renewing our mind daily with the word and He will direct your path. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
There comes a time when you just sit back and watch Him work it out, fight your battle, change the circumstances, address the situation. You did the prayer; you addressed your own heart and actions, you asked for forgiveness, you changed your mind and the direction and you did your part. The rest is up to God. Be it our government, our families, our communities, or our lack in any area. Nothing lasts forever and God is still running the show with truth and justice. Don’t you worry about a thing. God will not be mocked. “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. Oh yes! By faith we walk, not by seeing, but by believing we take steps everyday in the direction that serves God, serves others and ultimately serves us. We have a vision, a hope, a yearning placed by God for us to take steps with faith that even though it may seem impossible, with God, it’s possible. It’s in all of us. There’s something you are hoping for right now, and you either choose to believe or you get beat down in the waiting. The waiting is for a reason, it’s for the training, it’s for the development, it’s for the relationship building. Nothing worth having is given over night. More than that, we walk by faith even when we don’t get what we want. We walk by faith even when things are going “wrong”, we walk by faith when we can’t see the results anywhere in sight. We walk by faith because we know that the time will come when it will all make sense and in the meantime, whatever that is we are waiting for, we stay thankful and expectant because our God never fails. No matter whether you celebrate Christmas or not, the story remains true. God so loved the world that He sent His only son, and whoever believes in Him will have everlasting life. Yes, maybe you know this… but this story comes with a call for all those who believe, to seek Him out daily and to follow Him and His teachings. His grace will guide you, His grace will lead you and His grace will strengthen you to do His will. His grace will correct you and His grace will discipline you to help you follow His path that leads to life. Being human comes with noticeable limitations and although it can be easy to see the flaws in others and want to see changes in this world we only have control over one…. Ourselves. Even saying that I can admit there have been times that I didn’t even have control over myself or my emotions but as you see things in yourself you can take it back to God and ask Him to help you change and He will help you. Be brave and ask Him to show you yourself and ask to be more like Him and you will see it. That’s the greatest miracle I’ve ever seen… the changes He’s helped me see in myself and that’s a prayer worth praying. Help us be the change you intended us to be . ???????? Easier said than done but like all good things, Perfect balance comes from the Lord. We try and do things, get things right, make good plans, work hard, socialize, take care of our temple, give, receive and the checklist goes on and on until something snaps! Again we find out we need His spirit to realign us time and time again. He is faithful to help us when we are weak. I’ve been through plenty of grind seasons and forced rest seasons as God is good to teach us lessons along the way but ultimately it’s always to show us His plan was the best one from the start and when we try and run the show we will learn that He designed us all with a perfect plan that will go well for us if we follow His instructions. To know the best way to live is to study the one who created life and that’s where it all begins. Knowing Him and His ways.
