The quest for the ultimate rollergun continues.
On the left is what consider is the best off the shelf production rollergun on the market. The @roballenspearfishing rollergun series. I think everyone will agree when it comes to quality of build, precision & consistency RA are leaders in the market.
In the middle is a @alemanniteam inverted roller the undisputed king ? of rollers. Italo is the OG pioneer that we have all looked to and taken inspiration from. I doubt there is a roller on the market that has not been influenced by him. Some have just straight forward copied his designs & setups.
I know my CDR is heavily influenced by both guns. The goal to produce the most compact and functional speargun for blue water hunting and larger prey.
My in-line offset double roller (first to market with the large roller in front and smaller roller behind) enables a double roller to be no more bulky than a single band roller. And simple enough to be your daily driver but with the ability to functionally & beautifully drive an 8mm shaft on a small rear handle gun like the RA.
I hope to have the CDR Step-Up 120 &130s in full production soon. But right now I am preferring to make & test each one myself. With each gun getting closer and closer to the goal of what I feel is the ultimate speargun. ... So watch this space ☝️
