We’ve never lived close to family, so date nights are often something we don’t put high on the list because... ?? In ten plus years, we are working on making it a priority. We’ve definitely found choosing us is worth the cost.

That doesn’t mean we’ll turn down a dinner out on vacation, however! Excited to spend the next few days beaching, ice creaming, and lazing around together.

Yesterday, Andy, Kait and I went to the USS Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri. We all agreed bringing back the kids when they are older will be a priority, but it would have been a long day for them. While we were there, they spent time with my Aunt Hisako—and of course had an absolute blast! After our date, we met 3 pajama-clad kiddos, Aunt TeeTee and my parents out exploring the open-air shopping and street performers.
