#Repost @sometimes__always Poetics of Encryption is a groundbreaking art program curated by @nadim.samman lasting for nearly a year at @kwinstitutefcontemporaryart both in its physical and digital spaces. Starting as book written by Nadim, the project evolved into three different stages: a conference, digital commissions and a collective exhibition. Poetics of Encryption surveys an imaginative landscape marked by Black Sites, Black Boxes, and Black Holes—terms that indicate how technical systems capture users; how they work in stealth; and how they distort cultural space-time. Together with @solenn_rbc Sometimes Always was in charge of creating the full design system and communication for Poetics of Encryption. Over the course of a year, this system manifested across various media and scales, encompassing everything from the project’s website and exhibition to artwork wall tags and urban billboards. Back when we started, we had no idea of the massive scale of this project. It is a great feeling to see our work throughout the whole KW building as well as the city posters all over Berlin. Many thanks to Anna Osterberg for finishing the printed graphics, Daan Lockhorst for the website development and @timsonnntag for the photographs in this post.

#Repost @maumstudio 네이버 캠페인 ‘BE LOCAL WEEK’는 동네 곳곳에 숨어 있는 로컬 ‘별’들을 찾아 연결하는 로컬 캠페인입니다. 우리가 사는 도시를 더 따뜻하게, 더 풍부하게 만드는 로컬 가게들을 소개하며 사람들이 동네의 즐거움을 새롭게 발견하도록 돕는 특별한 일주일입니다. 마음 스튜디오는 ‘BE LOCAL WEEK’의 비주얼 아이덴티티 디자인을 포함하여 ‘비로컬위크 경주’의 키 비주얼 디자인과 홍보물, 공간 디자인 및 제작, 시공을 진행했습니다. 네이버의 지도 안에 즐겨 찾는 로컬 가게와 사람들을 ‘별’로 비유해 시각적으로 전개하였습니다. NAVER’s “BE LOCAL WEEK” is a campaign that discovers and connects the local “Stars” hidden throughout our neighborhoods. It highlights the shops and people that make our cities warmer and more vibrant, encouraging everyone to rediscover the joy of their own local communities. MAUM STUDIO created the visual identity for BE LOCAL WEEK, and designed the key visual, promotional materials, and spatial experience for BE LOCAL WEEK Gyeongju. We developed a visual system that reimagines beloved local shops and people as “Stars” within NAVER Map. #Repost @thenewcompany Nike Super Bowl LX visual center by The New Company — blending inspiration from the Nike Football and Super Bowl visual systems together into new and flexible typographic expressions, art direction, image treatments, and retail direction for Nike as they took over The Bay for the big game. From Union Square to Santa Clara, the system served as the creative platform for a host of experiential activations, retail takeovers, digital initiatives and more throughout the weekend.
