I challenged Chelsea to make a macaron with my Chick Fil A order. We wanted to do something crazy but we faced a huge problem when trying to create a macaron completely with Chick Fil A ingredients. From the outer shells to the butter cream and the little toppings in between. We mixed chick fil a sauce, chick fil a chicken, pickles, and bread crumbles into the butter cream, easy. But what posed a huge challenge was infusing chick fil a into the outer shells. If you don’t already know, macarons are so hard to make because making the outer shells requires the perfect folding technique, temperature and environment, and so many other factors... we couldn’t just sprinkle the chopped up chick fil a crumbles on the outer shells before baking because the oil would have made the shells explode… we ended up having the squeeze the oil out with paper towel and freezing them before sprinkling them on top of the shells before baking. Needless to say, the macaron tasted exactly like a Chick Fil A chicken sandwich and it turned out to be a success. @chiboobakery you killed it!????
