Pro card win What a journey with @gorin_nikita_ifbbpro Over 2 years ago Nikita contacted me initially to do a few shows in Russia where we took the overall in all shows. He had a goal of becoming a classic physique pro and we set our sights on this. Nikita has a beautiful shape and structure, but we did need to bring up some body parts and overall size. It needed to be a very productive offseason and I don’t think Nikita was used to treating offseason with the same discipline as prep. I had to remind him several times of this and I held him accountable to the goal he had set. I knew Nikita had what it would take to turn pro and I told him how much I believed in him and together we made huge improvements. We entered prep and set our sights on the DUBAI Pro which would be the biggest amateur show of the year with over 50 competitors in Nikita’s height class alone and over 150 in classic total. Nikita took the overall and earned his Pro Card! We have more big goals ahead and despite his illness currently, I know Nikita will be back and we will make it to the Olympia. Dreams really do come true… From Amateur to Olympia qualified in the space of 2 hours for client Josh! I started working with Josh several months ago and from the get go I saw a guy just driven to be his best, he had no interest in admiration or fame he was just pure in his desire to be a great bodybuilder. I can’t think of a single moment since working with him that he deviated from his plan or complained about anything and trust me in the final weeks of prep trying to make weight most would have moaned - but not Josh, he asked for more! Making weight really tested me as he was stage ready at around 93kg and we had to make 89.5kg - his body refused to drop and kept going up and down around 92/93kg. It was a case of pushing hard then pulling back, resting and introducing some high carb days which did the trick ???????? We made weight bang on the money! Josh was a standout at this show, he brought an incredible package which was rewarded with not only a Pro Card, but then the Pro Show win and invite to the Olympia! I said to Josh a few weeks back ‘you are a pro already, you don’t need the card to tell you that as you do everything like a pro and now it’s just a case of you believing it’. Quads are starting to feel like my quads again. Nice to feel a pump for the first time in line 10 months and see some volume coming back. Started lifting at 20 thinking I’d be drowning in female attention.
