Final call! It’s time to #RaveToSave in aid of the marvellous @jamesplaceuk I’m on the committee for this amazing night to raise funds for this incredible charity. They offer free, life-saving therapy to suicidal men. Having had a personal experience with a friend recently who was struggling I understand the importance of men’s mental health and just how hard it can be to peel yourself out of a mental health crisis. It’s so hard to find treatment on the NHS. My friend couldn’t even get in for a Doctor’s appointment and was told “there were ‘actual sick people’ that needed to be seen before.”. It was insane. We all know how stretched the NHS is on every level. But this sort of blocking scenario is leading to so many suicides across the board. People feel they can’t find a way out when they desperately need help. @jamesplaceuk have treated over 4,300 suicidal men since 2018. Their professional therapists get quickly to the heart of a man’s suicidal crisis and help them solve it. The night is the brainchild of my friend Astrid Harbord (who remarkably is still off socials) and will raise funds BUT also be a corker of a night out at London’s legendary @fabriclondonofficial The link to the final wave of tickets is in my stories. Finally got my mitts on that lil firecracker @melanieblatt’s fantastic @fullfillingsfood burgers this evening ???? There aren’t many people I’d travel an hour and three quarters for in stand still traffic for ????????????But the Blatt is one of them. Seriously, so proud of you Mel with this. So much thought has gone into these dishes. And it shows. Cannot wait to see what you do with this business next. So good, @helenrave and I made sure we tried all three. Full deep flavours, amazing dipping sauce with each and a burger that holds to be picked up and taken down bite by bite. I had the meat. A glorious hum of heat + spice and a rich yet delicate gravy. Then we shared the mac ‘n cheese veggie option which blew our minds with a luscious cheesy dip. Rave had the Jamaican-inspired chicken burger with a chook gravy. Seriously impressed. For now you can get them at @thelondesborough in #StokeNewington but expecting these to be rolled out way further soon. GO MEL ???? #fullfillings #burgerkween
