Here’s Peggy. This was my little girl (though she was so old she’s a grandma) Yesterday was my last day with her. I took this photo right before I took her for her last walk before the vet. I tried to smile the best I could because I knew she was so happy. I had to put down Peggy yesterday afternoon. It’s harder now that I am home, but Peggy was the happiest girl in the world. She was calm and knew what we were going to the vet for. But now she is the happiest she’s ever been. She had cancer that spread to her lungs and in the last 4 days it went from nothing to about fatal. It was the right thing to do seeing how sick a dog can get in a few days. I only had Peggy for two years. Some terrible owners left her out on the street for being old. But me and Peggy had the best two years ever. She was just such a good girl. Never ever made a mess and just hung out whenever/wherever. But now she crossed the bridge. She won’t get to meet her baby sister tomorrow, but she’ll still be here, forever. I love you Peggy. I gotta say my birthday was pretty awesome. I flew to Costa Rica to do some filming and do some diving. I finally got my open water scuba certification along with my enriched air certification as well. I am now a quarter century years old and it does me no harm. Growing and dealing with pain and stress and everything that anyone getting older deals with. But I find happiness in the work I do and the experiences I have. Looking forward to continuing the financial growth I’ve had along with mental growth and self care. Cheers to another great year.
