Here rides our Gramps at 102. ???? He is the chief of our tribe and has led our family with a commanding power of presence and patriarchy. A few weeks ago, the whole family “said goodbye” and made peace with his passing. It was a guarantee after numerous strokes, double pneumonia, kidney and bladder infections, and almost complete organ failure. After a couple of weeks in hospital and lots of anguish and stubbornness, this is him today. His mind is lucid again and he is annoyed that his legs aren’t working and worried about OUR health and the well-being of his best friend, Jackie ????.
