Today was the Scottish Rite Biennial Session Gala, and I was surrounded by so many wonderful people—friends I truly adore. I am deeply grateful that Freemasonry has brought us together. ???????? Today I laughed, I cried, I celebrated with people who feel like family. We were sad, knowing that with many of them we may not cross paths again for a long while, yet we were also happy—because once again, we had this precious chance to meet, to share moments, and to create memories that will live forever in our hearts. ???? The final speech by Jim Cole brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me that as long as we fight for a common purpose, we are not just brothers and sisters—we are one united family. Each and every person I met carries a special place in my heart. ???????? Some friendships will last a lifetime, even if this was the first—or the last—time we stood side by side. Distance can never divide us. And on top of this special day, it was also the birthday of a dear friend I love so much. I am thankful that two years ago she chose to become my friend.
