I hit a wall writing my vows, so I took a break and started scrolling through photos of me and Derrel for a little inspiration. That’s when I stumbled on our most recent shoot, our engagement video session. I had randomly asked if Derrel if he’d be down for an engagement video shoot. And of course he was. Just the mention of a camera is enough for him ???? You know we couldn’t keep it simple, so we went full 1950s theme: outfits, hair, makeup, props, etc. So extra, I know. It’s the artist in us. Thankfully @photogbyvalerie indulged us and braved the humidity and bugs to bring our vision to life. I’m still battling writer’s block, but in the meantime, here are a few stills from the shoot.
