Hello to the flurry of new followers who are here via my flea market reels ???????? thought it might be a good time to reintroduce myself, my home and this account - so here’s a little manual powerpoint presentation of what to expect from me! 1 - Myself and DIY Dan at our 1968 build bungalow in North East England. We moved here 18 months ago and have been slowly and gently renovating this mid century beauty since. We’ve been together twelve years. No ring, no kids ???? 2 - Inside the bungalow and the reason/s we fell in love with it 3 - We do a lot of thrifting, antiquing, visiting flea markets, shopping second hand and scouring charity shops for homewares and I share it all on here 4 - Our woodland garden. We get the dreamy deal of petting someone else’s horses every day 5 - Our pre-loved kitchen. There’s lots of content on how we achieved this mustard beauty on reels and stories! 6 - My day job. I source, curate and sell vintage and antique rings over at @rocknrosegirls 7 - We have a family home in Mallorca and spend a few months of the year over there. Always happy to recommend things to do and places to stay on the island! 8 - The first room we tackled at the bungalow featuring the house’s original floorboards 9 - Another of the bedrooms we’re in the midst of. We installed the beautiful timber ceiling in this one 10 - And finally, more of the living room because ???? 36 hours in Italy ???????? and the greatest job of my career to date — chaperoning @jesslathanphotography to one of her beautiful Italian weddings! We dropped her at the aisle and then just casually hung out in Puglia for a couple of days ???????? P.S. sorry I’ve been missing for a while! Life has been life-ing, but we started some projects on the house this week so — I’m baaaack ????????

My kind of heaven ☁️ We sailed to Northern France with @dfdsukire to visit the biannual Amiens Rederie - one of the country’s biggest brocantes! ????️????️ The next dates for the Rederie are: Sunday 6th October 2024 Sunday 20th April 2025

(Chicken) mom and dad ???? A great big thank you to @freshstart4hens for doing what they do! Wonderful human beings, the lot of them. Now I really need three things from you: 1️⃣ ADVICE — specifically rescue hen related. We’ve a few bald beauties and a few wet butts over here and I’d love to get them back to peak physical fitness over the coming weeks and months) 2️⃣ CHICKEN INFLUENCERS — lol, anyone you follow on here also keep chickens? And then there were ten ???? We had absolutely no idea anyone was pregnant nor did we know what to do - hence my panic ???? both mama and baby are absolutely fine. A little girl! We are currently calling her Michael Bolton, because of the mane.
