2️⃣ years ago I quit my very comfy job to invest full time in my side hustle, @themediasocialites. For those who don’t know my story, I had started @bridal_vogue 6 years ago, launched @themediasocialites as my moonlight and side hustle and of course @everydayvogue. Fast forward and we are a squad of 1️⃣4️⃣ and growing fast ? Today she launched her new logo designed by @anniecavallo - our CMO of @themediasocialites and just WATCH ? @dollistic - I knocked at her door too 2 years ago and she - like @drmaryamnaz- let me in. It changed my life, she changed me ? @edenluxebridal - she found me on Instagram and trusted me with her business. We’ve evolved together, we speak 384883 times a day and seeing her quit HER full time job to do her passion ?? @anniecavallo - In a crazy twist of irony, Annie was one of my first clients. She told me I was destined for more than my day job and to trust myself. I’m so proud to work with her every single day and see her soar ? This is your sign you need a vacation ? A flash of delight from our trip to @grandvelasnay ☀️ ? So many questions about our stay so I wanted to share it here with you! ? It’s so clean and safe. They follow all Covid restrictions and regulations ?The property itself is SPECTACULAR, but also walkable and not too spread out ? They accommodate kids, but it’s not for kids if that makes sense. They have balanced it out so that both adults, parents and kids have fun and are catered to ?This isn’t the place to have a Rager, it’s a place to relax and reset ?Can we talk about the food ? It was insanely good ! The kids were obsessed with the salmon {same kids same!} and they have several diamond rated restaurants on the property ?The cabana and lounge situation was spectacular- it was not a fight to land them either ?The staff need a standing ovation! The level of service and kindness at every step was out of this world ! We flew into Puerta Vallarta and it’s a 20 minute car ride to the property. The way I operate my life and my business is based on two mottos ? 1️⃣ Lead with love- how many times have you been in a situation where the person seems inflamed and you later learn there’s something else under their reaction. I approach my kids, marriage and business with exactly this principle which is in short, giving people the benefit of the doubt and being empathetic - a lost art. 2️⃣Solve for it. Year 9️⃣ has been my favorite. I know not everyone is able to find their soulmate, but I found mine in @eddiemaglaya in every way. What I’ve learned in those 9 years of marriage, 13 years together is this: ? Evolution forever: not everyone is wired like this, but you are and I’m grateful that we’ve continued to evolve into the people we are meant to be. ? ? Parenting together is one of my greatest joys with you. Yours, mine, ours, We don’t have money arguments - ever and it’s because I don’t need to ask about buying things and neither does he ?Ours - we have our money where all bills, mortgage, kids stuff, etc comes out of. ?We invest aggressively. If I could tell anyone fresh out of college anything, it’s not only to save money, but invest it- even if it’s a little. It matters. ?Crypto- yup, we invested years ago at the aggressive push from a very close friend, it’s worth looking into.
